I am going to try this card. I want to make one with these cards for my niece who’s birthday is in August. That should give me plenty of time to perfect this card. I ordered the whole set of stamps so it will be awhile before they arrive because I am in the USA. I think it is amazing that you could engineer this whole flip flap mechanism. I love this card!!! I have never made a 6x6 and rarely 5x7 but this would be a good reason to start. I can only hope that I could make one as lovely as yours.
Thank you so much for the tutorial of this Fabulous card. I substituted a piece of acetate for the rolling mechanism and it works beautifully. So smooth. I did it the same size as yours and added a thin strip of card stock to the sides for gluing down. Works great. Thanks again. Love your cards 🌺🌺🌺

Sam, I have watched it multiple times, so I am confident that you have unfortunately missed a step in filming. I think you were about to show the gluing of the 51/2 x 4 inch part to one of the sides of the "cut away" part when you remembered to do the scoring for the tiny aperture needed for the rolling of the 23/4 x 4 piece. At this point the gluing wasn't shown. However, you are always brilliant in your craft items and I love them :-) :-).

Thank you Lindsey. For this card I used my. Black Widow wax pencils. I usually use Arteza oil pencils but I have others I want to enjoy too.

Hi Diane it’s from one of my older stamp sets which has sold out. You could print the word ‘pull’ and cut it out or add an arrow there.
