Also, if you don't have a larger diecut machine, you could cut it out by hand, with a ruler and knife, like we used to 😉

I made one of these cards almost a year ago for a friend's birthday and she still has it on her mantle!! I was just reviewing to make another one for another friend's birthday. I am a new card maker and saw this one and had to try it! I didn't want to use my intended papers for it in case there was a learning curve and I needed to practice. Nope! She is clear with her instructions so my sample is just gorgeous! I also made a second with my intended papers for my daughter's birthday and it is magical! I am a follower now, Samantha from Mixed Up Craft!

Wauw ! And indeed I am the one to make the birthday cards @ work for everyone to sign. Currently working on one of your other designs being the cute tag mini album for a colleague who is leaving with all 22 co-workers signing their own tag. This card is one of the perfect reasons to save up for a proper big die cutting machine as mine currently has a width of only 5.75" which is bit of an odd size. ;D

Great ,don't have Die-cut machine ,Hope to try with hand cutting as it's only rectangular ,not complicated lines !

That is such a cool card! Also a great card to display that patterned paper we have that’s so pretty we don’t want to hack into it. It would be great for this card.
My New Years resolution is to use all the paper that I have now before buying any new ones. Unless the new ones are really cute and I can’t resist. Then I will buy them. And in that case it doesn’t count. 😜🤪

Stunning card. Looks complicated but your tutorials are always easy to follow. I would have taken a picture of the card in the shop and said your mum was looking for something unusual but need to show her first before you bought it. 😂 and the fact my memory is shocking and I would have forgotten what it looked like!! 😂 You are a brilliant card maker so clearly you didn’t need the reference and made it anyway. Well done x
My mum was with me lol, I'm pretty good at just looking, its just the middle section that's the same the sides, size etc I done my own way. She was a very moody lady, we didn't stay long and didn't buy anything!
