1986 Isuzu P’UP

After an initial introduction to U.S. buyers as the 1972- 1983 Isuzu-sourced Chevy LUV compact pickup truck, the new 1982 Chevy S10 pushed the Isuzu / LUV out of Chevy’s nest. But the little Isuzu pickup truck lived on as the Isuzu P’UP for several more years. Here, Steve examines a 1986 P’UP and discusses the birth - and death - of the 55 mph national speed limit.
