- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has hosted NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for talks.
The meeting was in preparation for the alliance's annual summit, which will be held in Washington in July. The pair discussed the war in Ukraine and how to boost defense spending to counter threats from Russia and China. Stoltenberg praised Germany for its commitment to supporting Ukraine. The pair also urged allies to do more to help Kyiv.

If Europe (the West) really wants peace, it will have to sit down with Russia. And then agree real peace terms with Russia (and Ukraine). So not: all pre-2014 areas should be returned to UA and all Russians accused of war crimes must be extradited. Istanbul 2022 should have been accepted.

A Super Update of the Tiger or Panzer Tank Division is a very intelligent choice… more tanks on the battlefield causes more damage and it spares and protects infantry soldiers … in the end it saves lives and conquers more ground.
NATO just made Germany less secure especially after it blew up Nord Stream pipeline, or more importantly the US did.
This is the problem with the WEST. Too much time talking and not enough time acting. Where are the armaments they promised.

We could have crushed Russia already if EU countries did their fair share of funding for Ukraine… they are the only reason young Ukrainians are still dying and Putin still has dreams of empire instead of nightmares in a prison cell.
