I’m grateful for the Broken Sword series. I started with the original being a 12 year old kid curious by the cartoony yet mature looking graphics. I got captivated, fascinated, and creeped out by the game (in a good way) and It carved a roomy place for well written/executed adventure games into my heart.

Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templar's came out in 1996.
What statue is that pictured in the background?
Looks like it’s called “Gaea ii” by Gerhard Marcks. goo.gl/maps/fhd5U9Wov6dC2Lak6
