- June 21 | Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), Chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, opens a Budget Committee hearing entitled, “Dollars and Degrees: Investigating Fossil Fuel Dark Money’s Systemic Threats to Climate and the Federal Budget.”
The hearing explored the insidious role that secretive fossil fuel money has played in exposing us to those forecast economic and budgetary catastrophes. Decades of climate disinformation and obstruction kept the fossil fuel industry benefiting from its $600-plus billion-dollar subsidy, driving up climate-related costs to the federal budget and to the broader economy.

It is sad that only few in leading positions really gets the imperil that we are. There is just few decades to act and after that its most likely lost for humanity.
If 3C starts the collapsion of the nations, then we are way too close to that point. Hansen et. al. recent study says that current temperature added with aerosol cooling means 2,55C tempeature rise. Where 3C is the low point of predicted extinction of mankind. We are way too close to the point where everyone dies.

Have you seen the image that shows all of the satellites surrounding earth? Look it up. Bezos and Musk are a blip. But that’s the outer atmosphere. What’s causing problems with things down here are happening here on earth. From dinosaurs that became extinct, too. Fossil fuels. Not spacecraft. Throwing around parroted catch names doesn’t help. Get a clue.
Its the only way we will be able to get rid of some of these leeches so let them all go on tours that might kill them.
