Lived in Sydney all my life, beginning my professional career in 1-2 years, I'm so contemplating moving to Melbourne, it looks soo surreal.
I've been to Melbourne so much and when I was 10-12 I worked there. I live just north of it and it is great
I suggest you also go shop at Chadstone Shopping centre which is the biggest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere and is located in the south-eastern suburbs and also depending on when you’re going you should definitely watch a sports game/event especially afl (between March and September)
Luna park is probably my favourite place here in Melbourne!! I highly recommend going!!

My mate Con Christopoulos established the first Café in Degraves street back in the 1990's, Degraves Espresso Bar, we all told him "Man it's a dead street, you'll go broke" he said he'll turn it into one of the "great café streets anywhere, like a little bit of Europe".....man was he right!
I enjoy visiting libraries too. That one looked huge and inviting. I have Australia on my bucket list of places to visit so thanks for this video experience.

Degraves is just so quaint and cute! Very different and interesting vibe in those laneway areas as opposed to the rest of the city, especially the Southbank area/alongside the river near the Casino. So many areas to explore, even just in the grid of the city centre but also so many coo suburbs to visit beyond that too but that would take weeks or months, haha!

The back alley you went in at the start I went there with my dad it has 7 dollar donuts and st kinda black is so fun would recommend. Been living in Melbourne since I was born so eleven years

Tip all trams within the free tram zone you will know when your in it and important if your trip starts or from out side the free tram zone to in it your have to pay.

I'm from Melbourne and I recently just spend an night in a hotel with a massive pool called sky high apartments I was on the 55th floor
Also Get in touch with your Days of old and go onto one of the Many Heritage railways in VIC (Don't go to Puffing Billy too crowed too expensive)

Did you visit Queen Victoria Market? Or the Brighton Beach area and see the bathing boxes? Those places were cool and I would suggest it to anyone Melbourne!

+Emily Kaplan The Vic Market is a must! And pretty much any of the Bayside beaches even all the way down to Frankston and beyond are awesome to visit.
Best way to see the beaches would be to charter a yacht and cruise down the east coast of the bay and stop in on any of the Mornington Peninsula beaches

That China Town looked like the China Town in Washington DC. It had a little Gateway into it also. We drove to Washington DC from Florida one day just on a whim. I mean we grabbed clothes and tossed them into bags and drove. We got there and went to China Town to buy sports bags for our clothes because they were in garbage bags. We did not want to check into a hotel with garbage bags.
We do spontaneous trips sometimes and end up buying clothes, luggage or packs along the way because we leave home to shop or eat and do not come back for a week or two. My wife and I got married two weeks after we met and have been married for like 30 years. Enjoyed your video.

11. Visit the Jewish Holocaust Centre in Elsternwick. I went today and it was amazing, was able to listen to a Holocaust survivors story. Very moving
