Brian's offhanded comment that the shit avalanche happened to some "shitty little goblin village" going right into Bizzle's "oh no oh no" was the perfect accidental backstory line up ever
The fact that all this time pob goblin wasn't even a real goblin is hilarious, and the revelation that it was JB who destroyed Pob's village is NEXT LEVEL
@@gaziwageneral Sam absolutely hated playing( example: the headset that only amuse himself)and blaming it all on Brian is scapegoating. Sam literally only stole poob gold et became Chester
It's such a shame we never got to learn the truth about pob goblin being a human and his village being destroyed by jerrys poop avalanche, but seeing this was a real treat to get some closure, thank you mr bizzle
Knowing that Sams character is looking for some reason to leave, and then eventually refuses to leave the tavern and has to be forced out is hilarious.
Bizzle you have a talent for storytelling that goes beyond these three goobers. I'm not saying you should exclude them, but if you wanted to continue recording D&D sessions and uploading them, i would gladly listen to them. Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
so many wild things learned today. Hugh isn't actually spite incarnate, Pob Goblin is in fact not a goblin, and JB's real name is Dijon and was definitely a well thought-out character
Die of laughter was my comfort series, something I'd listen to over and over and to see a return for this one episode is so exciting. Sorry this series didn't work out for you fellas but believe me, the four of you made something truly special, thank you Mr. Bizzle
Ty Bizzle, just putting it out there idk if you are interested or if you're one of the people who wanted to scale back and stop DoL. But I feel like there's enough people who would be down for you to do a new campaign with new players or friends if that sounds interesting at all to you, I certainly would. If not thanks for making it got me through a lot of work hours big man.
Bizzle, this is really something special you've done here. The raw footage of you guys workshopping and chatting about getting the campaign going and all of your ideas is really grounding. You all put in a lot for the show, and this is a beautiful homage to such a project of passion. As much as everyone wants another season, myself included, I appreciate what it was and all of your hard work. Take care of yourself, Bizzle, this was a pleasure to watch.
We could only hope, but I do truly appreciate what they did. I think it wpuld be fun with all the friends they have in the friend group. Multiple seasons with different players. So, the same people don't have to commit every time if they can't do it.
Holy shit the random synergy that popped up between their backstories is INSANE. Merry christmas bizzle, this was a good gift man. That ending got my all teary eyed, no joke.
This series unironically saved my life Bizzle. I've watched DoL about 400 hours. I never had an autistic hyperfocus until this and i now run my own dnd campaign with my buds. Thanks for the Christmas gift and hope you're doing well.
DoL is why I want to play DnD so badly, I got a character rdy and everything. it made me realize that DnD isn't just millennials roleplaying way too seriously, and that it can be shootin the shit with friends in wacky scenarios. hope the campaign is going well dog
Bizzle could call all able bodied, fighting age men to gather in the field of mars outside the city, and I’d trust him to relinquish imperium after the battle ngl
I have never felt the need to post a comment on a video but I would like to say this has been one of my favorite series of all time. I would want nothing more than to see you guys do your thing. Much Love Bizzle, you truly are a mastermind at your craft.
Die of Laughter was the funniest thing ever. Loved every second of It. This here was the best Christmas gift I got this year. Also, I had no idea Pob was supposed to be human and I just has a strong suspension of disbelief that a goblin could be that tall.
Just when i was reminiscing about a long dead dnd podcast i once listend to, as if from the heavens, i have been blessed by just the same from the jolly fellows responsible for my other favorite podcast. Splendid.
i love this show more than any other dnd production i have listened to, more than dungeons n daddies, critical roll, the dungeon dudes, etc. I miss this every week
I rarely comment or like videos. But the sliver of hope that remains in my heart to see more die of laughter has forced my hand. We need more episodes.
As both Sam and Sam (Poob) would say, geniuses really do think alike. Anyone else in Bizzle's place would be dying inside as these two described the exact same hyper-specific character origin. This is the greatest thing I've ever seen.
Didn’t know anything about dnd before DoL and DoL quickly became one of my favorite pieces of content on youtube as well as the only patreon I’ve subbed to, thank you for the Christmas miracle Bizzle!
I am so glad you decided to release this video. It was a blast with so many revelations. I've really enjoyed the series as a whole. I looked forward to each new episode because you guys created the funniest D & D campaign I've ever seen. When I'm playing D & D with new people, I tell them about some of the shenanigans you got up to (in my current campaign, they keep talking about the famous play Venom). Bizzle, you deserve a medal of bravery after putting up with those three knuckleheads for so many episodes. I think I'm going to rewatch the series because it was so great. All you guys did a great job to make it as special as it became. Don't doubt that for a second (I can't believe they all played as Humans this whole time; that explains a lot). XD
This was nice to watch, I'm glad you uploaded it. ...Really wish there was a final episode, where Pob and JB fight to the death over what has come to light in this episode, and Hugh has to pick a side, awesome story, still binge it to this day whilst drawing
Bizzle you dag-nab-son-of-a-gun you've done it again! I'm currently on my third rewatch of Die of Laughter and never thought I'd see another upload, but alas, Christmas is indeed Merry this year!
10 minutes in and this adds so much context that wasnt explored, Hugh, or whatever his real name is, calls himself Hugh Man in a bid to blend in so people don't recognise his elvish form. You could however argue they also called him this in the flashback, but it could be Hugh now identifying himself as Hugh in his mind, as these flashbacks are how each of the gang remembers them 🤔
I'm expecting this to get lost but this show planted the idea in my head of writing my own campaign, and we're finally having session 1 next week. Glad to have this episode as some closure
Never thought it would happen, but we are here. Remember everyone, we gotta keep this series alive. As fans, remember to like and comment. We need to show them that we enjoy the show in mass.
This podcast actually released for me near th end of sophomore year, which was a motherFUCKER of a school year that was about to be followed by another one that'd make the last feel downright tender. And this pod coming out every month (or so) actually gave me a lot to look forward too especially during a time where I didn't have much else other than the ability to download and listen to music/pods. When I'd realized it had abruptly ended I was a little sad to know I wouldn't get any more or get to see where the goofy characters I'd somehow grown to love would go. But even then, i knew it ending couldnt for a second take away my enjoyment of the series, cuz the story that had unfolded wasn't nearly as important as the references, antics, highs, lows and many many many MANY great laughs I'd gotten to experience listening to it. Getting to come along for the ride made me feel a little less alone, like I'd gotten to be a part of a secret club only us lucky few that stumbled onto this show and stuck around got to experience. Thank you guys for making this, thanks to everyone else who listened to and loved this with me
i love this show! watched on repeat until 4 months after the air date of the final episode. i still revisit the show from time to time. thank you Bizzle for releasing this
Only half way in the vid but it is funny to see how they were thinking the character would go. As soon as they got together it just went out the window, in a good way though.
I was shocked to get notified for dol again, this was fun to see. I hope you do a season two bizzle with or without the other guys, you are a great dm.

Very cool), Baby Duke, the Horsemen and Jelly Bowl all matter. Jelly Bowl was most likely the farmer who came into the bar asking for aid. By not offering adventuring services, the whole town was plunged into danger - and even worse! Richter was pulled into the mind weaver realm. This drove the Horsemen to seek him out and get caught in the web next. With every competent fighter gone, the players were whisked away into their wonderful story and it all kicked off. Game theory time. Baby Duke’s transformation changed the direction of this whole story. By roping that average height cowboy into an abnormally small chest ornament, he became the center of a great web. A web of stories. I think Bizzle wrote him into Richter’s story and the greater plot. We get Richter’s evil twin brother who probably was partly responsible for the earthquakes and Richter who was a pro wrestler before the world mistakenly labeled him as the evil brother. Baby Duke who either had a twin or separate personality before he became the Courier. He was a crooked conman (like Hugh’s background) who rigged wrestling matches (like Pob’s backstory). Okay. Enough explaining. I think the original plot was meant to be the party makes friends with the Courier and explores his background, revealing Richter’s past through mind spider shenanigans. Captures Richter with the help of the four Horsemen, taking him to Yoldar. Then they could reveal his true identity. Mix in some druid and spider stuff along the way. That is what I am thinking.
Bizzle thank you for your hard work in bringing us die of laughter. I loved all of the art, creativity and the wavy turns the story took. I hope one day to be blessed with another game.
