- In this video, I want to show you how to draw support and resistance in Forex. Price doesn't turn on a dime but instead you can consider levels of support and resistance as "zones". There isn't an exact science but instead discretion is required. The important thing is to be highlighting the most prominent levels you and every other Tom, Dick and Harry can see!

I think he did. See support and resistance are just points where one might think the line will either turn up or down based on previous price actions. It’s impossible to determine that the price will do the same but those patterns do tend to give a better analysis.
I agree. In addition it wasn't clear why he placed the s/r lines in certain places. There was no indication of an upturn or downturn at these certain points.
Drawing support and resistance lines might seem the subject of Charting
101. Some say it’s for beginners. But you would be surprised by how many people cannot tailor the placement of their lines to highlight the behavior within a trading range. Even fewer have learned to recognize horizontal lines around which prices have revolved. If you trade the SQB-AMAC strategy then you are a pro in drawing lines because the strategy deals with lines and you are taught how pros draw it.
I found this video very helpful. Thank you! I do have a question. I am trading a demo account. I have been putting my support and resistance lines on a 4 hour chart to trade a 1 hour timeframe. Do you suggest anything different?

Hi, I wanted to know will the price action be affected by support and resistance of higher time frames if your trading the 1-hour chart, and will the lower time frames affect it as well?

Thanks for the breakdown. Support and resistance lines are for zones. The wicks are good in swing trading because most of the time price takes the high or low level out before reversing. I like the color coded lines to distinguish.

I like how simple you are able to explain things. I have been putting my lines at the end of the candles. I never thought to use a line chart for S/R lines. Thanks for the tip! I’ll try that and see how it goes! Seems like it would be more accurate and as you said be able to look beyond the noise in the market.

Why is it like this in every time changes like 5 min ya 1 hr ya 4 hour the pivot point changes. If we change the segment from 1 hr to 4 hour its show changes in the real chart.

Hey Matteo. I wish I could answer your question and give you some value but I am not sure why he didn't do that at the 1.13 price. If you are like me, I love to have step-by-step training and structured modules when I learn.
