    Only John Peel could draw connective tissue between Pavement, Napalm Death, or The Cure. If it was John Peel, you just KNEW IT. He drew the best performance out of everyone who moved through his faders.

      That's the indomitable Fact. John Peel did more for culture than most "curators" could ever consider. His remarks about The Fall are both radically entertaining with the added virtue of being "true."

    Remarkable stuff, this. Three of these four songs never appeared again. They'd have been lead singles for any other band around that time.
