My street is about to have a power outage for 6 hours, and I'm stocking up on full albums open in tabs on my laptop so that I can listen to music if I need to, and I currently have this and three Einstürzende Neubauten bootlegs playing at the same time. It's chaotic, to say the least.

This is fantastic listening. Very interesting to hear the evolution of their sound over a two year period. Australia's very finest in under 60 minutes.

High time their entire output was boxed...including Drunk on the Pop's Blood / The Agony is the ecstasy and their E.P's."Buggery" only boxed their two albums and a Peel Session...in a highly porn sleeve.
oh how i wish this version of marry me (lie! lie!) made the cut of some EP or something like that, I'd love to hear it in album for but it's a bit too late for that now. rip tracy and rowland
@@kingink7964 Ok. I'm not sure. It's likely this is one example where Nick and Roland disagreed. I can't hear Nick singing it as per These Immortal Souls... What we have here sounds a bit unresolved maybe? I think I'll have another listen.
We are a small lovers of The Birthday Party....... everyone loves Cave but his best work is with the Party.....
He was like a wild animal in those days. LOVE IT!
One of the best bands ever been listening to them since a teenager in the early 80s

In the dissonance the mind quiets and can taste eternity
@Dirty Sanchez Well, I live in NZ, which is Western. Assuming you live in the West as well, have you never had a power outage before?
It's the age of narcisism... People talk about their lives as if they were gods. Fuuuck

Great band
Rowland S Howard ❤❤❤Tracy Pew. ❤❤❤❤
Tracy really was the best bass player Nick ever had.
He's one of the best bassists anyone had.
His bass playing hit that perfect sweet spot between classic blues and demented punk.
No Jennifer "s veils
Died young. Very sad. Tracy Pew and Roland Howard.
Always finds a solid groove.
¡WOW! greetings from Mexico too bad the didnt play Dead Joe
This version of King Ink is just mindblowing... Kudos to the mix engineer.

My god, this version of pleasure avalanche is in my opinion a much better arrangement than the one recorded in the mutiny sessions
TREMENDOUS.

It would be better if there were time markers along side the track list.
