India is dealing with the second wave of COVID-19, which has become the world’s worst by country. Many Indian Air Force C-17 from Hindon Air Force Station are flying all around the world - and also to FRA - to support their country. The German Air Force (Luftwaffe) also supported India with A350, A400M and other flights.

I love the C-17 so so much. It’s my favourite military plane.
In India we are thankful to Boeing and the US Govt to allow us to have a few of the last of the C-17 before production was discontinued.

That C-17 of ours is bringing medical relief material to India 🇮🇳. We appreciate the help in times of need 🙏
Fun fact indian c17 have travelled more than 3 times the entire circumference of earth while assisting in covid relief operations

Also I have been inside the 12 Wing and I have seen around 10 - 12 IL 76 , 7 - 8 C 17 , 14 - 15 An 32 , 1 - Mi 26 and of course the Chinooks.

I've seen these C17 near Chandigarh Airport Almost daily.
Yeah, especially in Dhakoli, Zirakpur. It lies on the final approach path of Chandigarh airport. These C-17's used to be my morning alarm when I used to live there. Flying Thunders⚡⚡

The Airport is very close to my house, I never filmed it due to security reasons, it makes huge sound, pasing day and night overhead, I think it was there to collect the Oxygen Concentrators..

There's an ad in Bangalore by the Air Force for their recruiting programme, that goes like this, "you know you have arrived, when you have a cubicle with a view" and there's a pic of C17 cabin looking at a runway... What a mammoth this plane is, it makes big planes look small...
