After seeing the bladefall test video with golden rule hit counter, it got me wondering about using the max 3 poison stacks (on self) pantheon + golden rule + icefang orbit + winterweave for the massive 30% action speed self-chill bonus
You could just get unaffected by poison from the unique helmet and actually gain the full benefit of golden rule. Icefang only inflicts a minimum chill as well so it wouldn’t be 30% unless you got ailment effect. Could also wear temptations step and get a benefit for stacking poison on yourself.
Poison feels weird for me, its nice dps on paper but even with 100% crit but sometimes it takes quite a while for even trash mobs to die and at times bosses dies in 1 hit. Using viper of mamba.
This is the first build I ever made, and I too first used lancing steel. I swapped that for blade flurry eventually tho. Blade flurry felt a lot better because you get 1 hit on mouse down, and 1 hit on mouse up. It's easier to move without sacrificing high uptime on trigger.
Very solid deeps for the budget and cool application of ward as a defensive layer. I love making builds on the fly, wish mine were as cool and effective lol.
Looks somewhat similar to the Cats on Crit assassin I was playing this league, except I was using explode gloves and maven belt instead. Felt so damn good to play!
only my second league here but i think i found my favorite build type, poison. i followed subTs soulrend poison pathfinder last league. wasnt as good as his but was still strong and a ton of fun.
No way you beat me to the punch, i ve been putting together the concept for this build for a while (although i was gonna use the volley version and stack quality and to make cyclone a very zoomy trigger skill for shits and giggles), anyways im glad you did it cuz im not sure ill be able to play much more this league!
Would having the Plague Bearer and Despair with Empower/increased AoE on the weapon be better than Whirling Blades, so you can always weapon swap away the scorpion if you run into bossing issues with it? The build looks fun though for sure!
Ward is broken when you get hit, that’s why it’s best paired with evasion/block, cause these prevent ward from breaking. If you use the ward flask that prevents it for breaking, you could use the gain ward on hit probably, but then you’d have to put points on tree for more flask uptime and/or drop all flasks except the unique ward flask and use The Traitor
im trying to unveil avoid ailments on my body armor and its taken over 100 div so far and i still dont have it lol, very expensive indeed, its a 58% chance to unveil and i failed 3 times in a row + the 1 time i dint hit the veil orb on the good mod
I have been wanting to make bladefall work but didn't have the time to test it, even less considering there was a spell cascade bug last league so I didn'teven botter.
To be more clear, the amulet makes you deal no extra crit damage, but the crit multiplier from all sources gives damage over time multiplier when you have perfect agony.
the first builds of the league was soooooooo good comparing to those last ones, whats the goal of these? specially when we compare to the affliction trickster, which had bad dps but way better than the dps of this one 🤔 ok, low cost, but if the low cost takes that long to kill a guardian...
What even is the point of this video. Just from the preview in the beginning the damage seems so lacking. Then you make it as a budget build, giving advice on how to get an item for 1 div instead of 2 div, its mid league time, noone cares about a cheap leaguestart character for 5 div, work on something actually good, not a budget quin build
you can also use an iron flask with "use on savage hit" enchant to reliably refresh your ward when taking a big hit to your life pool
That looks amazing, but also reminds me why DoT builds feels so strange on bosses. Love your work man, keep it up
Check out mathil's viper mamba build then

I think you need more clanky sounds in this build. I think I can still hear shaper doing things.
Another poison jungroan bui- wait a minute...
Love how the curse keeps being reapplied and bouncing over their head hahaha

then youre doing something horribly wrong. Mamba should reach dotcap really easily.
Making Bladefall Viable Pog
for a 30 div build this is quite impressive
it really aint
Assassin and perfect agony just work so well together. Been having a blast doing crit bleed with melee puncture
Puncture of shanking ? Tell me more
@@wygiwyg yep. rupture/nightblade combo with dual sai daggers because I wanted some high block to go with the hybrid ev/es
@@bonkokay what do you use for clear? any explosions?
@@wygiwyg +2 strike implicit on gloves and melee splash from tribal fury. it's good enough

You might try perfect form too, lucky spell block with spell dodge feels pretty nice

Would love to see a Flicker Strike of Power/Perfect Agony/Assassin

Gotta love the new 20div budget series.
cant you just turn off the hoag after you kill the exarch's minotaur?
its a little clunky but might be worth it
Can't wait for next league when they introduce modifiers that ignores ward or penetrate ward and become useless once again.

check out his other video about bladefall btw, volley version is really bad, basically every extra volley gets you less hits on a single target.

great job as usual Lance
you just took all the season memes and rolled them into one build.
I wonder why you don't use 10% gain ward on hit on your sword?

An rain bladefall mtx would be kinda nice
More realistic builds like this. 30d is good budget considering prices can easily double cuz of viewers and at 50-60d doing all ubers is reasonable.

Did this with pathfinder a while back
Very cool build.
What’s the mtx used on your character?
Hey, you could go utula's if uou change your helmet. Less ward, but more life. I am playing this way on my elementalist.
Can you just turn off herald on ball phase?
is this build gauntlet viable?
ANYWAYS!!!
just one question, why do u have crit multi when u do no extra dmg from amulet?
Perfect Agony
To be more clear, the amulet makes you deal no extra crit damage, but the crit multiplier from all sources gives damage over time multiplier when you have perfect agony.
No thanks I like my ears and framerate, cool build tho
zdps Sadge
this seems really really bad what

The man wanted to play bladefall. Not everyone plays video games to one tap everything. Sometimes it’s for the love of the game brother.

looks really slow. sorry lance but its a bad build
you are capable of better ones ;)
