Well to me...the ending should've been like.. Delena should've ended in season 6 when they both realized that they were not made for each other, they don't coordinate with each other, they are two different ppl and then Stefan and Elena came back together before this steroline crap started, and maybe at the same time Damon and Bonnie came close to each other in the prison world..and then they fell in love with each other, in this end , no one dies and everyone lives happily, this show has already lost so many ppl , why did they kill everyone, Tyler, Stefan and Liz , they deserved to live their life..

Literally s1 and s2 was their season. Some scenes of season 3 were cute but it was mostly stelena angst but there was hope until Damon got involved and it all fell apart. After season 3 it got boring real fast. Season 4 was okay but really not as good as (season 1-3) but 5x18 got me emotional 😭 💔 the season finale stelena’s goodbye was so heart breaking yet so beautiful

How they respected one another and how deep their bond was. If they had written Delena better I may have been down with it but Stelena was amazing and it's a shame how they ruined two of my favorite ships : Stelena and Klaroline (still hoping for it though). This makes me wanna watch the good ol' first few seasons.

Anyway the producers and writers said that Stefan and Elena were always the first choice and that they always saw them together, so much so that at the end of the series the idea was Damon died and not stefan, but everyone loved Elena and damon. I honestly liked that Stefan end up with caroline but for my Stelena they will always be epic
