FIRST of all I've spent sooo many hours for this mainly bc of the voiceovers, this storyline was my theory or better saying my wish
and I hate me for making this video seriously, I really hope you understand the story I'm trying to explain it as good as I can
please don't hate me for grammar mistakes haha and it's only my second AU video I've tried my best I hope it looks real
STORY: Damon, Stefan and co. are looking for elena they don't have much time so they need to hurry, meanwhile Elena is trapped in a room, she is still in "coma" but her mind is "open" it's up to her she needs to wake up on her own bc no one can do it for her. suddenly she's meeting stefan in school the place of their first meet she's happy to see him but is wondering why ? why the hallway why stefan ? eveything is happening in her mind..
after a while Stefan is the one who finds elena lying on the floor he saves her and brings her home.
Finally Elena is waking up totally confused and surprised she can't believe that she's awake after all these years.. so is bonnie..[ Elena also knows who saved her and who gives her the strength to wake up..]. Elena is meeting all her love ones Bonnie, Caroline, Damon... she's asking them where Stefan is a few minutes later he is standing behind her, it's such a relief for them to see each other in person again, elena has some flashbacks of their conversation before she woke up and other things like the moment when stefan found her diary all these little things are catching up with her, she's dreaming about him and is not able to get him out of her mind.. But Elena was gone for a long time things changed Stefan and Caroline are engaged and Elena is trying to keep the relationship with Damon but also telling him that they kind of need a new start bc elena was gone for such a long time and so many years are missing. But Damon also recognises that something is different, he catches her staring at Stefan.. Stefan and Elena are spending time together but just as friends like before but it turns out that also for Stefan it's not easy to be surrounded by Elena but he's trying to ignore it bc he loves Caroline. Stefan can't really hide that something isn't okay Caroline is trying to tease him but he's pushing her away. Caroline has doubts and is afraid that elena could be the reason why he's acting so weird. Caroline is kind of confronting Elena but she blocks everything but at the same day she has a conversation with Damon she's telling him that she's not sure about her feelings so they break up. Elena is trusting Matt so she's telling him that Stefan is the reason why she was able to wake up and that he is also the one who found her and saved her.
Elena doesn't want to lie anymore and is telling Caroline the truth.. she still loves Stefan.´, next day elena wants to talk with stefan but she doesn't want to destroy stefan and caroline relationship so she says nothing. Caroline is still with Stefan but he is still pushing her away Caroline is desperate and Elena overheard the conversation and knows that Stefan is also running away for his feelings. A few days later he brings her home after a party. Elena can't hide her feelings anymore and tells him that she's still loves him.. he also do but he's walking away in the end.

They were so epic. They should have ended up together. I can't believe how bad the writers messed up.

they couldn't. it was the plan to bring them back together but nina left.
@@Dany0926 it was Kevin's plan and not Julie's..she wanted delena to be the endgame..also she should've ended up delena in season 6 when they find out they are not made for each other, that they were toxic..and then she could've came back to stefan and Damon could've ended up with Bonnie...how great the show would've been then...
How the show should have been: Elena wakes up at the end of season 7, throughout season 8 she realises she still has feelings for him and then in the finale of season 8, the end of the show, she tells him, he feels the same way, and they kiss. The screen fades to black and there’s a flash forward of Elena and Stefan happily married with kids, and then the screen turns black and the vampire diaries thing comes on screen.

Well to me...the ending should've been like..
Delena should've ended in season 6 when they both realized that they were not made for each other, they don't coordinate with each other, they are two different ppl and then Stefan and Elena came back together before this steroline crap started, and maybe at the same time Damon and Bonnie came close to each other in the prison world..and then they fell in love with each other, in this end , no one dies and everyone lives happily, this show has already lost so many ppl , why did they kill everyone, Tyler, Stefan and Liz , they deserved to live their life..

Actually that was kinda what was suppose to happen because the producers planned to have Nina for the whole Season 8 and make Stelena a thing again but unfortunately Nina could only came back at the last episode

When i was 14 and still watching Vampire diaries,i was rooting for Delena.Now that im 19 and watching Vampire diaries again,i realise how much Stefan and Elena made better couple.
I liked Damon cause he was a bad boy,that is mostly why so many girls loved him.Now that im older,i see how big selfish prick he was and Stefan always sacrificed for everyone.Its disgusting what writers did to Stelena and Elenas character.She has became so selfish and self centered.Delena were so borring together and everything was about sex with them

Ana Ivanić I completely agree. I used to ship Selena but after rewatching I realize how toxic they are. The writers actually could have had a opportunity to pair up Damon and Caroline together but I don’t think they did because of the whole Tyler+Klaus thing. Lots of wasted opportunity.
This is the thing when you are young you want bad boys like Damons. But when you grow up you realize Stefans are better life partners.
PS I love Stefan and Damon both. But yeah I hate Dalena.

In the beginning I was rooting for Damon but when Elena actually started dating him I understood how good Elena and Stefen were together and for each other. How they respected one another and how deep their bond was. If they had written Delena better I may have been down with it but Stelena was amazing and it's a shame how they ruined two of my favorite ships : Stelena and Klaroline (still hoping for it though). This makes me wanna watch the good ol' first few seasons.

Literally s1 and s2 was their season. Some scenes of season 3 were cute but it was mostly stelena angst but there was hope until Damon got involved and it all fell apart. After season 3 it got boring real fast. Season 4 was okay but really not as good as (season 1-3) but 5x18 got me emotional 😭 💔 the season finale stelena’s goodbye was so heart breaking yet so beautiful
Actually the triangle was supposed to end when elena chose stefan over damon. But julie wanted to continue with it and ruined everything.
Wow this is how it should have been. I was one of many that shipped Delena from the start, but when it finally happened I realized how unsatisfying their relationship was. All the intensity was lost. By the end of the show I just wanted Stelena back and for Bamon to happen.
Oh. My. GOD! This is AMAAAZING! I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only who wanted STELENA to be the endgame. But the end of this video broke my heart... Good job :)

I thought the point of the story is that true love never dies just like Klaus said.

In the books elena chose stefan over Damon, actually elena And damon wasn't going to end up together but Ian and Nina started dating in real life so they decided that elena choose Damon then when they broke up the idea was that Elena would choose Stefan again but they didn't because delena fans were many and there would be a lot of criticisms so they left them. Anyway the producers and writers said that Stefan and Elena were always the first choice and that they always saw them together, so much so that at the end of the series the idea was Damon died and not stefan, but everyone loved Elena and damon. I honestly liked that Stefan end up with caroline but for my Stelena they will always be epic
