👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Finaly. Someone gets it. Max knew he was there. Max Verstappen is a dangerous driver. The thing is, dude has a free pass for everything. He can do and say whatever he wants. His fans love him for that. Lewis, is not that fortunate to have that luxury. Great video. You should check the Monza crash video where Max, the stuntman that he is, landed his Redbull on Lewis's car. If you look closely, the moment they stopped, you can see Max hitting the gas pedal not ones but two times. WHILE SITTING HIS ASS ON THE MERCEDES. In mid-race one the most disrespectful things i've ever seen in F1. Strangely enough nobody talks about it. No investigations from the FIA, no questions from the media what so ever. Again, watch that Monza incident. If you blink, you'll miss it. Watch it second by second, from contact to total stand still. You will see, all of a sudden you see them wheels spinning. My blood boils whenever i see this tiny little fragment in the F1 Max vs Hamilton saga. "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAVE ME NO SPACE 💩" 👈🏾 Fu**ng a-hole. Like i said, Max is a dangerous driver. Not a WC worthy F1 pilot in my humble opinion. But then again, is it me? Cause apparently, media and Max's fanbase seems to like him. I mean, even the FIA helped him out with a 2021 Abu Dhabi Early Christmas present. Max Verstappen. The only GOAT in F1 who was made by fear, instead of skills for whatever reasons 🤨. Nope. To me Max is not even in the "Goat" conversation. I'm out✌🏾.

Max was driving with his typical reckless style. He was so desperate and it was so obviously his fault.
Summary of Max’s driving on lap one
Left the track at turn 1 to keep the lead - all four wheels off the track
Moved dangerously close to Lewis who held his line down the Wellington Straight
Bought a dummy down the old pit straight and forced Lewis incredibly closed to the wall
Sees Lewis, has a minute hesitation about turning in to Copse and then turns in anyway, expecting the car on the inside to simply vanish, cutting across his line.
Max, after driving extremely aggressively then has a bitch about what happened.
Sadly the stewards decision, which I strongly disagreed with because it was based on outcome emboldened his loud mouth fan base.

Hamilton knows that track and that corner better than any one. The best line through it is not directly on the kirbs, it tightening so you straighten it as much as you can. Verstappen pulled exactly the same move in the previous corner, ie let the brakes off and hope it sticks. But people are right, they are very different corners, copse is absolutely ballistic fast, on entry and exit. To go through there side by side at that pace is not gonna work. Hamilton had the line, Verstappen should have backed out and taken the points, it wasn't even a racing incident. It was a stupid rookie mistake, red mist I suspect. How would 2021 have played out had he used his loaf in this situation? Lewis suckered him good and proper. Good point my man, us British are one of the worst culprits in regard to the unnecessary Hamilton hating. Instead of embracing our home grown kid, an exceptional talent from the day he arrived in F1. Many have chosen to try and destroy him on line with negative, derogatory, even racist remarks. For a number of reasons, Lewis is a good man and has a passion for what he sees as necessary change. As he put it, thousands of F1 staff and leaders everyway when he arrived but although he's established and so heavily involved and passionate about the sport, he couldnt get away from the fact there wernt many people in the thing that looked anything like him, remember this is a huge, billion$ global sport, effectively he was in something global and huge that dint look anything like the real World, ie: a fair percentage of people of all colours and persuasions, women etc so he's done a lot to change that and good one him. Then yo have him taking, which the ignorant view as him expressing black power, what a load of bull when his cause and aim is simply to call out and highlight the disproportionate deaths of black people, particularly in the US, effectively to attract and draw attention towards a process of change - As I say a good man but ignorance is ignorance and people get triggered by a black man doing this stuf instead of understanding the truth behind what he is doing. Thankfully, I think many of those types, are really beginning to see the kind of person Lewis Hamilton is, an exceptional guy in many ways, he's taken a lot of unprecedented BS on and off the track and remained dignified in a way that many wouldn't have been, for far less, and so they have been impressed by his manner, whether they profess to like him or not.

I remember the confusion to the point even the drivers were confused at times - crazy. No wonder there was all the jeopardy and a sense of manic frenzy every time he and Lewis Hamilton were battling - you see one was battling, while with the other's way of things equated to war, increased risk of coming to, which we saw. There is no one on one race craft with Verstappen, just a one dimensional, unrelenting force it, lunge anywhere, anytime, try and pass anywhere, anytime, which will only result in the other guy being run off or a coming to - how on earth do you race against that ? answer is in true F1 rules and engagement you shouldn't have to and that's why the rules are there / The FIA and its so called expert race directors should be seen to be doing their job, also, there is an etiquette known to the drivers, whereby skill and race craft are required, skill and undoubtedly, to be safe, judgement. These important aspects of racing, seem to be attributes that Verstappen doesn't appear to have, has never shown, or at least most certainly doesn't have whenever battling a champion like Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton on the other hand is a long seasoned and proven champion, with a reputation, and one amongst the drivers for being clean and fair, for the best part of a long established career, a career full of many tense battles, a reputation you will find all over the net, F1 articles, driver comments, if you dont know and choose to look, yo wont find said reputation in regard to Max Verstappen, simply because it does not exist or apply. Being allowed to get away with driving in that way is unfair, it is like allowing a boxer to constantly hit his opponent behind the head, below the belt, during a fight, without reprimand, hence he ref does his job and will reign it in at some point and even see the judges deduct points. The fact Lewis Hamilton got battled through all of that unfairness, arriving at the last race on equal points is absolute testimony to just how good and resilient, even exceptional a driver he is. Now does this mean that Max Verstappen is no good at driving an F1 car, of course not, and anyone who says it is just the car with him is talking rubbish. Max is fast, and definitely unrelentingly so, yes the most recent Red Bull has been a bit of a rocket ship to say the least BUT, fact is non of his team mates, non have got the better of him, which is a clear marker, in fact he's beaten them by a fair margin, over the time they've spent with him, which speaks for itself, Max is fast. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, he all too often crosses the limit, that acceptable and fair limit, when battling, one to one, which we have only really seen properly, throughout a season in 2202. There's genuine, proper hard racing, which has always been a part of F1, seen particularly during many a championship fight, and in the context of the the rules, hard, fair, it is skillful and genuinely exciting not dangerous, overly hard, overly aggressive, run 'em off, cut em off, artificial excitement, something too many current so called F1 fans cannot differentiate, no idea of the true and historical spirit of Formula racing, no idea of the rules, what is acceptable and what isn't. F1/FIA cemented the nonsense from/in 2021, and here we are.

I know you like to post bs and than try to trash talk me. Max has yielded and Hamilton has had kamikaze moves like Silverstone before. His dangerous and dirty driving have caused many, many crashes and lost him the title 4!!!! times.
But knobheads like you will only blame Max and excuse Hamilton every time.
Your bias against Max is just sad, just admit Hamilton was part of the problem as well and that Max driving was perfectly fine. Except for Brazil and Jeddah. And just admit Hamitlon's driving was dangerous in Silverstone and Monza. Just be honest.
It is always the same with you guys, Hamilton is a saint, Max is the villain, but when people criticize Hamilton, you attack them for having their opinion, but you are fine with people castrating Max.
How often has Hamilton ran of others or caused crashes?
How you race against Max? Try to be better if you can, and if you can't admit defeat.
Max has those important aspects of racing, but you don't like your boy to be beaten so will blame whom ever is beating Hamilton.
Hamilton's reputation among the drivers is not as clean as you want it to be. many considered him a danger and a screwloose. Just ask Rosberg or Massa. Lauda even warned Hamilton to change otherwise he would kill someone some day. And if Lauda was alife, he would have put Hamilton in his place after Silverstones dangerous driving.
Don't fool yourself, and don't lie.
Max got away with his driving the same reason as why Hamilton got away with it: It is racing, not a tea party.
Seriously, Hamilton battled through all that unfairness and got equal on points through resilience and an exceptional driver?
Forgotten about Baku, Hungary, Sochi have you? That were 40+ easy points for Hamilton. that is the main reason, not Hamilton's talent. He stil was 21 points behind going in to Brazil and than Mercedes was a rocket for the last 4 races.
These comments from you are so biased. Unbeliavable. This is why there is so much hate online.

I liked your analysis, and you are correct when you say Max is an aggressive driver, but so was Senna and Schumacher, but regarding the corner in question, when they had the accident you have left out one piece of crucial information, the speed delta between the two cars is far to small to make an overtake at that corner so the pass was never on. Hamilton would have known this. After all, he is an experienced F1 driver. So why does he do it? In my opinion, Lewis is trying to put Max under pressure in the hope that he can force Max into running a bit wide, but it doesn't work because Max, at that speed, only has one line he can take which he does and this is why the two cars come together. Lewis Hamilton caused the accident because he took a calculated risk, but that is racing for you, and in the end, it worked out for him he won the British GP.

Firstly, Copse doesn’t have a braking zone in F1 cars. For this guy to say as they enter the braking shows his clearly clueless.
Secondly, Hamilton said he was ahead at the corner. He never was, this is all the proof you need he misread the scenario. He also stated it was his line because he was ahead (he never was). Therefore Hamilton’s own defence suggested Max was in the right, Lewis in the wrong.
Thirdly, max was required to leave a car Length for Lewis, he did that. Lewis as the overtaking car pushed for more causing contact. Later in the very same race, leclerc left less room than Max did at the same corner, and both him and Lewis got through fine.
Fourthly, the fact Lewis went over the white lines on exit despite the contact showed he had too much speed going into the corner.
Fifthly, the fact this idiot has to still go on about 2 and half years later making videos with blatant lies in should tell you all you need to know. Thanks

Good analysis and I’m so pleased to hear the phrase “…will not yield the corner”, which is what I’ve been saying about Max for several seasons. He is a brilliant driver but he has, in my opinion, this one potentially fatal flaw of not yielding, even when the corner is lost, and to top that off he is unashamedly hypocritical about it. It would be interesting to do an analysis of this specific issue with Max by looking at the many examples of it. We’ve seen it this season a few times, including Austria v Norris and even Hungary v Hamilton, although that was Max attempting the overtake, but there are loads more. Max could be so much better if he just let the pass happen and then counter-attacked to get the position back, like Lewis often has. Shades of Michael Schumacher in Max’s driving.
    Keep up the good work!

A few crazy crashes in his first few Seasons have earned him 100 easy overtakes later on. I largely blame the FIA for this as they have always been for too lenient with Verstappen and have let him build this 'yield or we crash' style of diving.

@@DJgreen652 Hamilton hasn't given anybody a reason to hate on him or not respect him. He's done nothing to them. See karen Horner for that. As for Crash Crashwaitingtohappen, me calling him that has nothing to do with Hamilton. Or him being a "champion." I'll call him Crash perennially for how he tried to crash his way to a championship in '21 the last four races of the season when he was ahead on points knowing that any kind of crash with Lewis would win him the championship with no condemnation from his fans like you. He'd just blame it on Lewis. Blame karen Horner for that too. And then there's the numerous times he crashed that whole season by barging into a corner and the claiming he didn't get room which is documented on this channel. He could only do that if he got the green light to do it. He was once called into Whitings office for dangerous driving and he is the all-time leader in career penalty points. What a difference a race Director makes. And so, Crash he is. and Crash he'll stay. For me at least. If he had drove like a champion it would never happen. Now you know.

@user-nu6oe8ob9j Crash Crashwaitingtohappen was responsible for Silverstone. He "stuck a wheel up the inside at Copse" and nearly killed himself. James hasn't manipulated the cam footage. Your brain won't allow you to believe it. You need to work on your hate of Hamilton. From the time Crash started, he has over 10 more penalty points than Lewis. Lewis has eight more seasons, so of course, he might have more penalty points bit still not as much as Crash. Crash's last penalty points were for crashing into Lewis on purpose in Brazil in '22. He said he did it on purpose, so Lewis wouldn't win. And this was AFTER he had won the championship. So don't come here with your equivocations. He should have been banned and disqualified for the break check in SA like Schumacher was. I've seen all of those incidents from both driver cams and in slow motion. Crash is responsible for all of them. The same people that determined he "won" Abu Dhabi determined he was at fault for the first lap. Sounds like you're picking the decisions you like or don't like. Why? See the video. I don't hate Crash. Before '21, he was just another mid marker. I hate the way he drives and the way he "won" Abu Dhabi. Check your own hate and the Karen Horner effect on you. No one else is ever going to "win" a championship like that GUARANTEED.

You haven't even seen the video, and if you have, tell me where the "punting" I've heard so much about occurred. Then tell us when Lewis turned his wheel to the left. You can't. AND Mr. Not Smarty, How did Lewis have more speed than CRASH when it was CRASH that ran into the back of his wheel? Explain that. I can't wait. Since you LOVE ❤️ CRASH so much, you should've sent a letter to RBs to ask why CRASH'S wheel came off so easily. It looked like a safety violation that they've been getting away with. Help your boy out. Long as he's got the fastest car, it's a flaw that would only show up with contact. But it could buckle one day, and when it does, don't blame it on Lewis. Please try looking at this without tainted glasses. In F1 the driver who is ahead can dictate the line and even run other cars wide in a corner. This is heavily exploited by max on multiple instances, but despite it being kind of ugly, its within the rules. If you want to watch some racing with a different ruleset more to your liking, I can recommend you to watch some V8 Supercars. With a different ruleset and stewarding, those situations like where max squared of the corner, to be in front of Lewis on the track, to be allowed to push him wide, wouldnt be allowed and therefore not able to be exploited. The situation where Lewis crashed into Max differs though, as he was clearly not the leading car and therefore didn't hadve the right to dictate the line.
You said Max cut him off.. Please look again, espescially at the heli cam. Max's trajectory is not going towards the apex but to an apex around 1.2/1.3 car widths outside of that. I know this is tight, he knew this was tight, but he also knew he was fighting against someone with the quality of a multiple world champion. You have to put a lot of trust into the other driver to race as close as this, only thinkable against a Lewis, Leclerc or Alonso. But even the best can get carried away and make mistakes.
And you must have been joking when you said "Look at all the space on the outside Max could use, but he decides to ..." I mean comon, all the dirt on the outside of a single file corner compared to the racing line, which is wider then one single car but not by much.
You don't win against someone like Hamilton, if you leave him loads of space. Someone like Hamilton should also be able and was able some laps later, when he backed out of pretty much the same move, to hold the line and not understeer wide.
Let's imagine he didn't understeer wide, what would the outcome have been? At the apex, they would have probalby been still marginally side by side, coming very close but not touching. Hamilton though needing to brake slightly more before the corner, to be able to hold the tight line with the heavily compromised entry and his dirty tiers, would have been slower and therefore lost out out of the corner.
Had Hamilton been 0.5m further ahead, his line would have been perfectly fine, in that situation though, he wast on lost ground and should have backed out. I'm normally a big fan and was kind of dissapointed he didn't take the balme for his mistake.
My last point, coming back to the tainted view. You are blaming the villainizing of Hamilton but come on, what are you doing all the time during the video? Listen to the type of speach and words you use when talking about max (Max driving a defensive line on the straight as every race driver would equals MAX PUSHING LEWIS INTO THE WALL with an agressive voice) and when about Hamilton, you are heavily biased and not looking at the situations objectively. You might want to change this, if you want your channel to be attractive for genereal motorsport fans and not only fanboys. Furthermore if you want to change someones mind who magically is just a racefan and not hating on any driver, it just wont work if you out yourself as such a biased onlooker, even if your arguments were actually sound. ( naah ok, won't blame anybody hating Ocon)
PS:Just listened to it again and you might generally be confused where the driver needs to be ahead to earn the right to the corner. It's apex, not straight, not beginning of the braking zone. (No I don't say Lewis is wide at the apex (he would have been) but thats not he point)

Why are we still discussing this?? It's 2024, literally 2.5 years later. Hamilton just made a mistake. Big deal, who cares right now. The new season is upon us.
Hamilton made the mistake because when you go across to the pitwall towards copse corner, and you stay there with a car next to you, that will restricts you so much going into a fast corner like copse corner. Especially on the first lap. Think about tyres, fuel load and maybe more.
Verstappen gave Hamilton enough space but because Hamilton understeer into Verstappen, it only looks like Verstappen doesn't give Hamilton enough space but he has give him enough. We can also concluded that Hamilton doesn't hit the apex like we saw from him in the same GP with Leclerc in 2021 and 2022 with hamilton hitting the apex when Leclerc was pinching him even tighter than Verstappen and they go through no problem.
Hamilton can make mistakes, just like Verstappen and just like the rest of us. It not the end of the world or anything.
