Here from Sean Seanson’s video on Namco’s PS1 output, when he covered this game in the section on Namco Anthology. It’s always nice to hear about an obscure famicom game and know that a certain random stranger has a video on it
Wow, this brought to my attention that Vs. Babel no Tou is one of several Vs. System games that still haven't been dumped for use in an emulator. I hope it can still be found again!
Update on me getting into this. I'm fairly obsessed and beat the first 64 floors without a guide (I had to look up the cryptic password to unlock the pro levels, though I did "solve" a few of those on my own). I'm onto the 64 bonus pro-levels and they are tough but so far doable. What an excellent game and I'm grateful that you highlighted it for me!
Your recommendation made me give this game a second look, as the first time trying I couldn't even beat the first stage. And I have to say I really got into it. It's very clever and the puzzles do start to get quite tricky!
I love that puzzle game Tower of Babel on Famicom to figure it out to make stairs with L Blocks

What are your top puzzle action games? I would love to know as I love these types of games
I know this showed up on NSO a little while ago. I don't think I wrapped my head around it at all but didn't spend a ton of time with it.
