In another universe (perhaps the one that follows ours), "Smacking Crunch" is a sugary breakfast cereal. In our universe, however, it's the sound SwissSauce makes. Repeatedly.
@SwissSauce if you don't ill curse you to be trapped in a time loop where all you can do is crash your ship into planets Then again that'd probably be fun for you
So, for 3:24, here is a fun fact. The center of every planet is 0G, as it's the center of gravity. This can be seen in the Zero G Cave on Hearth, but for Ember Twin, that crevice is close enough to the center that you rapidly slow down if you fly into the canyon Edit: Ember, not Ash
@@SwissSauce yes. I once made an insane 4000 meters a second clutch into Ember Twin. I was trying to do the achievement for a certain planet (spoilers lol), and overshot. Ember Twin lined up perfectly that I was able to position into it's canyon. Still left at around 1000m a second but it was better than leaving a crater
I do believe the gravity is lower there, but that's not the reason you slow down. The real reason is that Ember Twin has an atmosphere, and although it's pretty thin overall, it's much thicker in that deep ravine, so you get slowed down by air resistance.
@@Dan0RG that might be it but honestly I've never seen any example of air resistance that was that strong. But, I do know that as you get closer to something, it pulls harder, until you reach the center. I feel it's more likely that the pull slows you down, but if you have any evidence of it being air resistance, I'd check it out
@@thedracon4318 I loved it. The ending wasn’t what i was expecting at all but after a bit of thinking about it i’ve come around on it and it’s quickly become one of my favorite games ever made. I haven’t finished the dlc yet but ill definitely say something about it on my twitter when i finish it

You didn't walk out of your ship without a suit and suffocate. So to each their own stupid death xD

LMAO
Early Outer Wilds experience of crashing into everything at maximum velocity vs Late Outer Wilds experience of learning the end-of-loop jingle
A dunkey/pre-2020s alpharad style video on my favorite game of all time, I've found something special I think :)
Dunkey is a huge inspiration lol ❤ appreciate the kind words!
Outer wilds deaths:
65% - Sun
15% - Physics/Fall damage
10% - Oxygen
9% - other damage (electric, ghost water)
1% - breaking the freaking space-time continuum
Aka, "man forgets about conservation of monentum for 6 minutes and 3 seconds"

Phenomenal editing. Can't wait for the next part when you get Brambled for the first time
The tree decided that it was a good time to be inside you ship. A quick 360 would have either solved the issue or made it worse.
Finally, a man who tells the saga of us mere mortals! I have never seen a more mid pilot and I’m all here for it. 10/10, can relate.
This truly is a No Man's Outer Worlds Director's Cut of all time.
🥲
in case you didnt know, that boring purple thing you found shooting off was the nomai probe
