Any song's appeal depends on the listner. M.Rafi's songs appeal to many people in Indian subcontinent and so are K.J.Yesudas's songs. Besides them there is long list of Singers whose songs are some of the best to listen & feel as I believe. I listen to best songs as I perceive from Kishore Kumar, Mukesh Hemant Kumar, SD Burman, Manna Dey, Talat M, SP Bala, PB Srinivas, so on. Never ending list one can compile. I also listen to Lata, Asha, Suman K, etc Indian female singer's songs besides many western singers like Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, M Jackso so on. Why should I care who is best or who is bad but just listen to song and listen again and again when I like or just listen once.

Any song's appeal depends on the listner. M.Rafi's songs appeal to many people in Indian subcontinent and so are K.J.Yesudas's songs. Besides them there is long list of Singers whose songs are some of the best to listen & feel as I believe. I listen to best songs as I perceive from Kishore Kumar, Mukesh Hemant Kumar, SD Burman, Manna Dey, Talat M, SP Bala, PB Srinivas, so on. Never ending list one can compile. I also listen to Lata, Asha, Suman K, etc Indian female singer's songs besides many western singers like Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, M Jackso so on. Why should I care who is best or who is bad but just listen to song and listen again and again when I like or just listen once.

@Rishid Abdul Assis i think Yesudas has sung this song once after he crossed the age of 70 or so. Naturally he would not have been at his best when he sung this song. Yes bassness in voice has.....For instance, I can't enjoy these songs as such , if some body like MGSreekumar or Kumar Sanu sung it. And for me Yesudas's voice is a bit more masculine when compared to Rafi's where as Rafi applies more feel to songs when compared to Yesudas.That is my belief...let us agree to disagree.
