    Superb video. I grew up in the area in the1950’s and I was a frequent visitor to Buildwas as my father worked at Ironbridge A Power Station. By then the coal sidings and associated plant had, as you say, dominated the station area.

      I hope I did that area justice - making the split level station was tricky.

    I did comment about the birds.. They were now practising V-shape formations 🙂 Nice to see some shots left and right of the track rather than just only straight forward. Good job!

    Good work, I look forward to new offerings. Personally I think a little bird song adds to the ambiance.

    Very nicely done. We live just over the border in South Staffs.

    Excellent work Anthony! Birds begone :) A lot more realistic as you certainly would not be able to hear them above the engine noise!!!

    14:15 today the station building of cressage is still there as of today and it’s now private residence as for the bridge that’s gone completely

    These are lovely and I am addicted to TF2! Any possibility of putting this/these maps on the Steam Workshop for others to enjoy? Thanks.

      It's on the workshop, as mentioned in the description.

    The lack of fencing on both sides of the track .It’s not very realistic where it is shown,and the telegraph poles are too close to the line.But having said that it’s an interesting watch.

      www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms/mra130a.htm shows telegraph poles even closer than I have put mine. As to fencing, I can only use the fences that come with the game.

    What point in this video is where the planned Telford steam railway extension to build was joins this route

      I don't know. The only junction on the OS map is the one I have modelled. Are you talking about a present day proposal?

    Excellent film. Having never played this railway simulation is it a thing of the game that on starting your train the signals do not go green until you whistle?

    • @anthonyguter
      @anthonyguter  7 месяцев назад

      The game does not use signals like a real railway.There is an invisible one at each station end which the game uses to reserve the track to the next, so the ones that I place are really dummies.

    What happened to the Wrekin? It domiates the area with views over the Severn and surrounding area?

      The game fades out anything more than a couple of kilometres away. The hills are there because I used a height map of the entire district at the start, just a bit too far to be rendered.
