Celestron C80 on Polaris Mount

The Celestron C80 is a classic 80mm f/11 acromatic refractor on a superb Polaris Mount. At 80mm and f/11 it hits a sweet spot in terms of just enough focal length for the easy use of simple eyepieces, not too much color (about the same as a 4 inch f/15), enough aperture for some good images (much better than a 60mm) and it's reasonably portable. Mounted on the famously rock solid Polaris mount it is a wonderful scope.....if you make a couple of small fixes.
