First test run for Auckland's new train

Auckland's first new electric train is taken on its maiden test run outside Wiri Depot to Puhinui station on 4th October, 2013. The train is currently going through a rigorous testing and commissioning process and will be joined by more new units delivered over the summer period, before first passenger services commence in April 2014.
