  • Tay had an early morning game up in Farragut so I figured since I get a lot of questions on it, I figured I'd take the drone and throw it up really quick to give y'all an idea of Farragut from above. The area is known to be on the higher end and is an extremely beautiful area with many wide open plots as well as tract home developments.
    Thank you for watching and subscribing. We appreciate every one of y'all watching and hope you are enjoying Californians getting settled in Tennessee.

    Very pretty area and lovely houses. I'd swear it was some fancy-schmancy California neighborhoods if the grass was all gold and not green. LOL. Now can you do a drone tour of Townsend area so I can pick out my future real estate? LOL. Congratz to the girls on a win. Have a great day pal.

      East TN is absolutely beautiful! I lived in Seattle for years and would take TN over WA any day of the week! Better hurry because the secret is out and people are moving here in droves!

    Will be there with at least 80 other sailors for the USS Farragut Reunion in October. They are coming to pay tribute to Admiral Farragut who lived here and loved the Smokies.

    Just want to make sure you understand that it was the sweat, hardship, and tears of my fathers (i.e. ancestors) who built this beloved state. I don't understand how migrants from less desirable states can call or consider this state home when it's not yours.

    I literally LOL'd when you called it "the 40" because I know a lot of Tennesseans are thinking, "What's he talking about? The back forty?". Thanks for giving this native Tennessean and former San Diegan a good chuckle. I do still think of California freeways as "the" 5, 805, 15, 405, etc. but refer to interstates everywhere else as I-40, I-65 or just call them "40" or "65", etc.

    Another video on Faragut stated there are NO PROPERTY TAXES there. How that is possible , especially in such an affluent town..not sure. Is sales tax sky high there?

    • @hotwheelman4pops
      @hotwheelman4pops 2 года назад +1

      I saw that video too and am able to confirm she was wrong. There are property taxes. Sales tax is the same as CA, around 7%-7.75%

      Lots of development going on in Choto area- or try some of the older neighborhoods-Village Green, Concord Hills, Sugarwood. (Although houses go really quickly in those neighborhoods)

    Farragut is where we are looking. Great area, solid shopping amenities. Not sure about the medical right there, maybe someone can fill me in. ?? The houses on the river are way beyond our means but you can find affordable housing sprinkled throughout. I have a good friend who lives there and he drove me around to various areas and the prices were affordable for us. One point that I would make about the houses here is that they don't seem to last long on the market and rarely make it onto sites like Zillow or Trulia. You have to look first hand and be ready to pounce.
