My mate took his R1 and i found it very veyr hard to keep up, got so much more power out of the corners compared to my zx-6r. brillaint day out and well recommended....best thing i ever did... Looking forward to my next one.
Hi, I went this year as well I have a zx-6r and as in the novice group. I really gave my bike a carrot and it's nice to see this guy is only getting the same speeds as i did, 127mph was the highest i "managed" to see..

hi mate,looks like you are scared of opening that trottle up,just crack it open n brake later those r1s drop into the corners,dont be scared its the only way trust me,then you will get quicker,2mins alap is pretty steady round oulton.
Could be way smoother. Trying way to hard. Higher gears in the corners needed smoother style needed. Maybe help to relax and use vision way more. Too erratic. I reccomend California Superbike School, go do levels 1 to 3 then film again.

More like the Intermediates but a nice sunny day to get out there and practise :-)
The best R1's were made in the year 04 and 05.

Easy on the berkness. He never blipped the throttle on the RCV either, when it didn't have a slipper clutch.
@tattootiadog just be careful,
if they catch you lap timing in a novice group they'll kick you off
downshifting needs work to smooth throttle but good work.
