    I have never seen competitive scrabble. This slid into my recommends.
    It's funny to me how this is a completely different game about being able to keep track of which letters are still in the game, knowing what possible plays your opponent might have and setting up your own future plays all at the same time.
    When I play scrabble I look at my pieces for 12 minutes just trying to find a word that fits anywhere lol

      There's a hierarchy of scrabble skill:
      1) know the words
      2) find the words
      3) find the plays on the board
      4) determine the best play on the board

The best play would have been O7 TOWZE, scoring 67 points and blocking the high scoring triple lane. However, what's crazy is that TOWZE loses ONLY if David's 7 tiles are AEENOU?, where he has the ridiculous bingo out of I9 AENEOUs, with 5 overlaps and connecting JAP and D to form JAPED.

      Yeah, you’re not alone in this reaction. The competitive dictionary is a bit off-putting to many observers and rightly so. Nice breakdown. In the future, I would love to see these kind of games broken down word by word, score by score, with some commentary on the strategy considering the remaining letters. Great video!

    I couldn’t care less about scrabble of these players, but I was so enthralled towards the end I could barely breathe 😂

    What a way to retell the greatest Ashes story outside of their own countries in 2023.
    FYI: The England-Australia rivalry could be summed up with that single word of Cricketing origin.

    After some videos about yoyo championships and scrabble, I will now go to my next recommended video about disc golf. I have no idea why I watch these, I don't play any of them.

    8:38 - epitaxes - Not sure if anyone can confirm, but it looks like this is a valid UK word, but not a valid US word. I know that "Epistaxis" is a nosebleed. All I can find for epitax is a brand of LED.

    • @wanderer15
      @wanderer15  Год назад

      Correct, that word is Collins (UK) only, as are many of the words used by the players here - hopefully it's not too confusing!
