    I wonder if some of this has to do with how much money star QBs are making now. In 2020, the highest earning QB was paid 31 million / yr. Today it is Mahomes at 55 million. I am not saying he is not worth the money. In 2020, the team salary cap was 198 million. Today it is 224 million. So QB went from making around 1/6.5 of cap to 1/4th of the cap.
    If the stars are taking in that much money, the quality of role players around them is going to suffer. How do you ask top quality players to take a paycut if your QB / star is not leading by example.
    I used to hate Brady when he was dominating but I always appreciated how he did not try to take every last dollar that he could.

    last year he threw for 5000+ pass yards & 40+ tds without tyreek hill. he's regressed it happens, his best weapon in kelce has regressed and his wrs core has not helped him all year. he's still top 10 in every category and is the least sacked QB in the nfl because he added a rushing element to his game. he has missed on some reads but overall he's still the best qb in the league and tool set is unmatched.

    Captain Kurt one of the best quarterback that people never talk about I have done alot of film study on Patrick mahomes and what I pull from it is he is not a pocket passer Most of his plays are on the run or Improvising A lot of two read throws hitches curls and corner routes And a ton of screens When you ask how to throw from the pocket He is not efficient

    Brady's been playing with receivers he has no choice but to trust almost the entirety of his career. Bunch of short route guys he had to throw to in order to make something out of nothing. Mahomes just ain't that good I guess.

    • @kennytran5020
      @kennytran5020 6 месяцев назад +2

      He’s going to have to adjust and adapt like any great quarterback, Brady really never had a dominant/ all pro receiver until Randy Moss unless you want to count his tight ends but he had dominant slot receivers like Edelman and Walker. Drew Brees as well only 4 pro bowl receivers in his entire career probably why he fed Michael Thomas because he was the only receiver he could trust.

    🤔💭I am so glad you made this video I have been saying is for about 4 years that Mahomes is not a pocket passer. MAHOMES gets very impatient in the pocket. Andy reid has been masking a lot of his flaws with quick screens He's just been able to get away with it with 2 hall of fame pass catchers. And a really good coaching scheme But people think that I am just hating on him. All they see is the ring But to be honest he has been the five championship And has only won 2😳😳😳 So you can look at it that way as well Go back and watch all three of his super bowl Performances the end zone copy For those of you who have played football, you know what i'm talking about when I say endzone copy And you will see how Impatient and inaccurate he is from the pocket
