You know I am starting to understand why Mahomes has seemed to be whining so much this year. His WRs are breaking him mentally and I don’t think he knows how to deal with it.
Underrated take 😂
Maybe if he didn't sign a huge contract, he could get better recievers
Bro every nfl we deals with players dropping passes or even allowing interceptions. He ain’t special in that respect. He be acting like a child
Bullshit. He complains about the refs and calls…when his own teammates can’t line up correctly or catch passes. Get off his nuts
@@mrfrostwing i remember it was a team friendly contract so you may be wrong about that
Not a chiefs fan but love Mahomes. This is painful. A lot of dropped passes in the NFL are from huge hits where the guy doesn't hang on. Some stats even count ones where it touches the fingertips but most people with eyes can see it wasn't catchable. 90% of these are just failure to look the ball in, unawareness of the timing, not turning around in time to prep, etc. All the receivers fault. I didn't think any NFL rosters had this low level of WR play. Even the panthers receivers are more sure handed.
If thielen was on the chiefs he’d be a top 5 receiver this year 😅 Mahomes is desperate for a number 1 and once he finds him, he will feed him game after game

People slept on KC defense last season. They had the 2nd best defense in the league behind Baltimore. So even with average playmakers on offense (and Kelce), Mahomes carried the offense on his back and the defense stood on business.
Black magic
Luck
Every other team was pretty bad. This was a pretty miserable season, looking back at it.
T*ylor Sw*ft. The fix was in.
Most of the passes were dead on the money too. I can’t stand the Chiefs, but you have to feel the frustration for Mahomes.
Yea but most people would rather just hate him than understand
Yes, Mahomes is still playing great, but his contract forces him to be surrounded lower level talent players. If he is not willing to bend his contract he has to adjust and get used to playing with lower tier talent rather than complain about them.
@froodtube he literally already has, tho, and he's not the highest paid quarterback in the league anymore after he restructured it.
@@froodtube MVS is making 11 million this year. Kelce is making 15 million this year. Jawaan Taylor just signed an 80 million dollar deal to play RT. They're just not getting production out of their big contracts. Couple that with Chris Jones making 27 million this year after holding out until the season started and they lost out on free agents because they were waiting for that to play out. They have the cap space to add talent.
He’s a superstar qb who makes a fortune. I think he’ll be ok
As a die hard chiefs fan, this is pure pain. I’m here because I’m apparently a masochist
You think this is bad, try being a Bears fan. Or a fan of any actual bad team. That is true pain.
@@sovietmario1606 you have a point. But I was born in ‘95. Started watching in ‘02. And we were always horrible until Mahomes came. But there wasn’t hope back then. I knew what to expect each game. Pure pain? Dude your team literally won the superbowl last year. Chiefs fans have it so good... they get upset if they don't get a 1st round bye every year.

@@Championjrstudios It’s so frustrating to see it week in and week out 🤦♂️
Hey, it's Cole in the wild!
Hey, Cole! We learned how to catch again!
The chiefs seem to have adopted the belicheck method of finding a few diamonds in the rough with a receiving corps, then becoming overconfident that they can keep going back to that well over and over, as if they believe it’s their coaching that made the players great. So they make minimal effort to get proven weapons because they think they’ll make anyone into a weapon. The only exception on this roster being Rashee Rice who was a well-regarded high prospect in the draft.
I agree to this mostly, but on the other hand, if they had a wr coach who isnt a first year offensive coach, who never played wr, or coached offense, and a OC who isnt matt nagy, these problems would be mostly fixed. I mean MVS was doing good last year, suddenly, new wr coach, new OC, cant catch a ball to save his life.
quit a few drops on this video are Rice..HOWEVER, his overall season numbers over shadow this..nearly 80 catches for 1000 yards...hed had gotten both of those with a few less drops...
I only counted 2 balls where the defense MAYBE made a play. The rest are pure drops. Insane.
Yet every casual fan blaming it all on Mahomes. It's sad honestly

As a chiefs fan, MVS and Toney gotta go after this season. Football isn’t a priority for these guys because the drops have been an issue for both guys all season (for Toney, as a matter of fact, all of his professional career).
As a Packers fan, MVS has always sucked.
As a Giants fan, Toney has always sucked.
As a Chiefs fan, this sucks
as a football fan, no receiver on that roster deserves a job besides rashee rice. everyone else should be working in fast food
I'm going to be upset if any of the Chiefs recievers (outside of Rice) even have a job in the NFL after this year. Even the PANTHERS receivers aren't this bad.
They had probably 500 yards worth of drops.. crazy
The worst part is I can just picture Mahomes saying something nice and encouraging in the huddle like "it's okay man I'll throw you another one." Meanwhile Brady be screaming "do your f****** job!"
Whatever! Don't even use Mahomes in the same sentence as Tom Brady unless you're going to use it in reverence to Tom Brady. Mahomes is the most overrated quarterback in the NFL. Meanwhile, Tom Brady is the greatest of his time furthermore. Furthermore, if it were not for the referees the Kansas City Chiefs would have never made it to a single Super Bowl and they certainly never would have won one without the referees

@@benelias3556If you think Mahomes is overrated you aren’t worth discussing football with.
It's more understandable after watching this why Mahomes has been so frustrated this season. It doesn't excuse some of his behavior but at the end of the day he's human. It's clear that what trust was there for his receivers has been damaged, the confidence isn't there, and teams aren't scared to play us. I'm sure he feels like he's out there alone trying to work his usual magic but his offense keeps letting him down. Even Kelce isn't reliable like he has been in the past. It's hard to watch but it is what it is. It's been a bad season and their playoff prospects aren't looking good. Seasons not over yet but by 16 weeks in I'd think any flaws should be ironed out. They've only gotten worse. Hopefully they can regroup in the offseason, get rid of some of their dead weight, restruct as need and come back stronger year.
Don't look now but I think somewhere in this Bengals game was the inflection point

At first I thought the ball must be covered in oil or something, but then the defense catches it with one hand. LOL.
Can't blame the QB. The WR must have wooden hands or something. Or it's just mental problems that they can't focus on what's important. 🤷♂️
It's like we're doing a Madden challenge where you put RBs as receivers
ironically the one game CEH played well is when he was used primarily as a receiving back. 💀
I just think it's funny that they immediately start winning games once MVS starts catching passes 🤣
I'm a huge chiefs fan and it's crazy how you start to see that mahomes is the best player to have ever touched a football. He has wide recievers that can't catch the ball and an o line that can't block for him which makes him have to either run or dump it off to a rb. It sucks that I can't really see the 2018 -2019 chiefs because of this.
I mean the entire team is different besides maybe 10 guys at that from those years too, same thing with tom brady,
I mean even the 2020-2022 Chiefs looked nothing like the 18-19 Chiefs, because defenses finally caught up and learned how to counter Mahomes. Yeah he still made some huge plays during those years, but he hasn't been airing it out like he did in 18-19 simply due to defenses adjusting and Tyreek leaving for Miami.
@@itsBAY35 Yup people learned after that year that mahomes is way to good at throwing the ball deep and scoring so now every defense they play against has 2-3 guys deep.
The ad before this video had me dying on the floor because as soon as I clicked on the video all I heard was, “ROAST BEEF”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A few of these, I get it. Slight overthrows, poor hand placement, and flat-out shitty luck. It happens. Most of them, however? Jesus Christ almighty *I* could catch a football if it was thrown right to my hands.
As a chiefs fan I ahve to feel this every game 😭
Oh boo hoo atleast you’re gonna make the playoffs stop crying
Mahomes: Why does the equipment manager have a Raiders vanity plate on his car?
We need an updated one with this last month's worth of drops added, MVS had another awful crossing route drop against the Bengals with wide open field ahead for a TD yesterday. Pretty sure that one got him cut next year if all the other drops haven't done it yet. 😂😂😂
This WR group is something else, never seen anything like it.

This is honestly sad and u can put more because this video was two weeks ago 😭
the fact that the kc receivers are undeniably responsible for 3 kc losses and people try to make it seem like pat is a fraud or it’s jus the refs not helping them anymore is jus stupid

Mahomes manage to win the sb with this team crazy
Patrick mahomes is an amazing qb. He’s just too good. He drops dimes and throws dots. Kadarius toney and his Wr core are destroying his stats

I was expecting a Kadarius Tooney compilation
If the Chiefs had better receivers, they would probably win the Super Bowl again.
they’ll win it anyways. they are the NFL’s golden boys right now.
@@Zack29810 my comment is not aging well lol.
To be honest, this is the boom and bust style of passing and catching the chiefs play. When guys are catching the ball, they are running in stride and rack up YAC yards for big plays. However, trying to catch on the run at full speed instead of planting your feet and getting your body behind the ball introduces a level of difficulty and uncertainty that can lead to these drops. For me it’s like 3pointers vs Free Throws in basketball.
Who came here just to torture themselves after last night 😭😭
I don't understand it. They're not awful. I've seen awful receivers. So wtf is going on?
nobody really knows. my best guess is Gooddell probably doesn’t want Mahomes to surpass Brady at his current pace, he’s paying the entire chiefs WR corps since the offseason to inexplicably fall off into the deep end of choking in tight scenarios when their QB delivers perfection into their hands time after time again.
You're right. Its probably something beyond incompetence which most fans are going to attribute it to. I'm not even a Chiefs fan, but I'm at a loss at how they are performing this way. The Coaches need to figure this out, if Kelce is dropping balls than you need to get to the bottom of it
@@paulinotouI'm of a different mind now. They're not shit but they're bad, very bad. But this won't be figured out this season, I'm sad to say. The Chiefs will be lucky to make it out of the Wild Card Round at this point.
If that last clip is the worst drop the Chiefs have had this year I don’t think receivers are the issue…
This is what the giants had to deal with last year.
And Eagles in 2018-20
Not if wasnt. The chiefs statistically have the worst wr room since 2013
This is how Andy Reid has built his teams his entire coaching career. The only time he’s ever spent capital on a receiver was TO and that was more because the Eagles owner wanted him
not exactly true. Since he has been the Chiefs coach they have extended Bowe, signed Jeremy Maclin, Sammy Watkins and unfortunately MVS.

The crazy thing is that they have all these drops and are still a top 5 team in the NFL.
The best team!
Do we get an updated version at the end of the season? 😂
I will try LOL
It would be amazing if someone could extrapolate Mahomes stats if say 70% of these passes were caught. I don’t even think YAC would be necessary. My assumption is that he has at least 500 more yards and 4-6 more TDs and about 4 less INTs.
4.3 speed is good but most importantly, CATCH THE DAMN BALL.
I have a feeling Toney and Mvs won't be with the Chiefs next season

How TF did the 49ers lose to these mfs?🤦🏾♂️
I think it was #33 on the 49ers that left Mecole Hardman open on the game winning TD but yeah I see your point. I also think that the Chief’s defense played a HUGE part in that win. Sad reality that we live in

Update this at the end of the regular season. 4 today
What ever position your talking about, including QB, great college players don't always succeed in the NFL. More than not when they struggle for the 1st 2 or 3 seasons. It's not that they physically can't do it, they proved they could by reaching the NFL. Their problem is not being able to focus consistently in the NFl. Maybe it's the increased distractions that come with money & fame, or maybe it's the lull that comes with attaining your dream. They finally made it, so they exhale & relax, but you can't relax for long. Keeping what you achieved is much harder than getting it. We hear star players say that all the time in every sport. All the good or great ones trane the hardest, work their mistakes out in their 1st few years. They don't live on their past successes. It embarrasses them when they suck & they own it & work harder. Toney most certainly doesn't own his mistakes & it shows big time as he makes the same mistakes over & over for almost 3 full seasons. If there's a minor league for the NFL he shoulda been sent there a while ago. The Chief's can live off their offensive backs & Kelsey, Watson & Rice for a bit, but they need to replace Toney with a bona-fide compliment to Kelsey, period !
we do have the XFL and USFL
You could make a 5+ min compilation of Chiefs drops after like 12 weeks of play? Okay’ the Mahomes Meltdown™️ is a little more justified imo

Most of the time that the receiver does not catch the ball is from not getting their hands up in time or mistiming things
Ain't no way this 5 minutes long and it came out over a month ago 😭
We shouldn't have to tolerate millionaires dropping balls as pros. KC has lost a minimum of 3 games you can attribute to drops, then of course the 4th loss when Toney can't figure out where to line up. MVS and Toney are just embarrassing at this point. So far in his career, Skye Moore looks like Less. They released a couple guys from camp they should have kept and Fortson could have been big this year before injury. Also need to get Noah Gray involved more, he's sure handed and can at least run a decent route.
The first 10 or so are just the normal kind that all teams experience throughout the year. Its the ones towards the end that are the terrible ones.
