I've had this game for quite a while. I acquired it shortly after it went into early access. I played for about 6 hours but stopped because I wanted to wait for the full release. The translation was rough, and they did not have any romance yet in the game. But now that it's out, I'm hoping to pick it back up and see how much has been improved.
oh you should absolutely give it a try again! yeah the translation can be a little funny at times lol but for the most part it’s great 🤍🫶🏻

I kinda want to try this game because the cooking looks really cool and I also like that it has a more dark story it seems, so less bubblegum for a cozy farming sim. Thanks for the video Stormie!

Great to see a review on the 1.0 version! I'm still a bit unsure, because the art style isn't really for me, but the Chinese inspiration sounds cool!
I think if everything else sounds great to you then it’s worth a shot but I totally understand how not liking a certain art style can be really off putting to the entire game 🤍🫶🏻 I have that feeling with a couple games lol
Ever since I started played farming sims, I always looked forward to the romance options that explored more of that character as your relationship developed. Maybe I just got used to all the farming sims I played before having romance but I immediately refunded the game when I found that there where none in this. That's just my taste though, romance always completes a game for me, especially in a cozy relaxing game where the idea of spending your life with a loved one is part of the good ending. Hate playing a game without a good ending.

Why does the game need such romance thing ?
It's about eastern cultivation/or. A romance is attachment Lust, it is an evil deed that trap being in endless low rebirth.
It's not about dating game.
Even in real life romance isn't always end up with happiness mostly drive to more conflict and dispute.
I'd be interested in any tips or things that you wish you knew earlier for this game

the only bad thing is they dont have romance T_T. Also the interface looks kinda meh? Its look like is a placeholder, like something the forgot to change

The game arrived at the perfect time as I'm near the end of My Time At Sandrock. Is the English translation good or should I lower my expectations?
it’s good! it does have a couple of funny moments but I had no issue with it 🥰

Your voice is very soft making it difficult to hear you.
this was a shallow review, the only reason i learned anything about this game is from watching the footage. Aside from the specific cons you mentioned for the UI, the rest of what was said was basically just "there's so much to do in the game we'd be here all day if i went over it." It's totally fine if you only played a couple hours of the game but it would be fairer to label your video a first impressions of the game instead

I love turning my brain off and enjoy my time with these life sims although I hate the anime esthetic. Those huge bug eyes always freak me out. It's like asians heard about westerners from other asians and just went with it.
