Bodycam Early Access Review - It's Concerning

Bodycam just came out, and I cant help but review the early access release. Will this live up to the bodycam hype that Unrecord has set? Lets find out! In this video, I quickly go over what I like about the game and what it needs to improve on. Remember, this is just my opinion. Bodycam is a hyper-realistic bodycam styled fps. It took the world by storm by having the biggest streamers such as XQC, and Shroud streaming it. Bodycam uses Unreal Engine 5 to achieve the incredible look that it has. Will graphics be enough for this games success?

Honestly the gameplay is fun but I refunded it due to the fact I could not see this game lasting very long or a game I would want to sit down and play all day everyday.
Was a fun experience and I enjoy the body cam aspect but other than that is a hard pass for me.

honestly multiplayer games in general are priced way too high. I remember when GTFO came out and everyone was raving about it, but to me, a brand new studio releasing their first game, a co-op multiplayer designed around playing with friends, for $40 was just insane to me. And I was eventually gifted it, and can say with certainty it is not worth more than 10 dollars.

I'm worried about this games future. I hope it won't get overshadowed by other games that release after it (especially Unrecord), and that it's able to stand on its own

@MadWatcher I don't think you realize how complicated and costing game dev is. Rn the game isn't perfect but it's damn impressive for a new dev. In fact I actually really enjoy playing the game and it's the main shooter I want to play rn. Typical games are 70 dollars these days. These devs are charging 30. A fair price for the work they put in. Plus it will fund the game

actually Bodycam reportedly been in development just as long, if not longer as Unrecord, and Unrecord only been focused to single-player - rmbr this is early acces. This will be good and already is on its way:)

@@jakobsahin412 you must be right, my ryzen 7 5700x and rtx 3070 probably arent good enough for the game...
Jokes aside, its clear that the two kids are just trying to make a quick buck off the hype that the new gens got over better graphics and a new game engine. The game will die in about 3 months after a few half broken updates dropped without actually new content. The playerbase will get bored extremely quickly and will just move on to their favorite generic titles. A few people will keep playing but thats about it. Then it fizzles out and the game is done and dies slowly out in his *early access* phase. At that point the dev made already a other title tho, to try to grab some more money off the new gens. Maybe its at that point some racing game with ultra realistic bs. Aka just a lot of 4k models and a lot of rain cause rain/wet cars look gud.

I got the game and refunded shortly afterward. Could not manage to get into a single game, and the graphics is very badly optimized. Worse, is knowing the devs behind this have a mind of a 15 year old by the choice of absurdly loud and noisy lobby music, with horrible UI. Maybe it can be something good but I highly doubt it would go somewhere with this kind of mindset: doing something fast in the sake of short term success.

unrecord is a single player game. Being a huge mp fan, i can say after 50 hours game time that body cam is fun af. i pretty much only like the russian building map but can play it for hours on end.
