    The best thing I've learned from you is I don't need to comb or brush my hair all the time!

    Oh My Gosh Whitney!!
    I revisited this method after about 3years. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now with twist outs. Thank you for this video. I completely forgot how nice this stretches my hair with little to no frizz and I love it thanks!
    Congratulations on the new baby!😊

    I love how gentle you are with your hair. I've learned this from you along with many many other things . I've been using a lot of protective styling and my hair has maintained so much length thank you. It kills to see so many naturals and black women in general pull their hair out with combs everyday and stiff brissily brushes. Not using any water or oils of any kind. I recommended your channel to a lot of people!

    Hi Whitney, I recently removed my locs and I have been very inspired by your videos and your hair journey. I began looking at your videos to grow my daughter's hair and I was so amazed I decided I wanted to see my hair after 16 years and I am happy I removed the locs. I only put locs in because I did not know how to manage my natural hair. Whatever you do, do not apply heat regardless of the presser. Your hair is beautiful. Blessings.

    Girl day 4 was my favorite! I can't wait to try this. I commented on the post partum video and after commenting I decided I'd be doing 6 months to a year heat free (I'm gonna try!) And all your videos are such a big help. We have similar hair textures so I'm excited.

    @Naptural85 I am so in love with your hair!! I'm 13 going on 14 and my mom never ever lets me touch my hair. I've always been scared about what to do with my hair when I grow up because I don't know how to take care of it since my mom doesn't let me but your videos really helped me out and now I'm proud to say that I have been natural for about 4 months now. I already see a big difference!! Thank you!!!!!

    I LOVE THIS!!!!! I hate that I didn't utilize more tips and advice from past videos. I've recently acquired heat damage in pursuit of length... I really appreciate all you do and you've been natural hairspiration since I've started my journey back in 2010. Keep doing what youre doing! God bless you and your beautiful family

    I love the "careless" look, too. The slight frizz gives it character.. I hate my mini twists for like the first week, but as the days go on they look better &better.

  • @DAttallahMUA
    @DAttallahMUA 12 лет назад +1

    you have to be gentler when combing your hair for sure, but if you're doing it right it won't hurt. I can't speak for Naptural85, but I only comb my hair when soaking wet. I only finger comb when dry.

I am a mature natural and I constantly search the internet and youtube for haircare products, regimen and different protective styles. I have found some good info but I always come back to your channel and always find what I need. Your family is gorgeous and if your daughter gets any cuter I will just scream.

    Can you do a updated video on double stretching and maintaining hair(without your heat tools). Also to clarify doubles stretch refers to stretching the already stretched wash day hair(if your washed day ends in big twists or braids)

    That sort of grace is a blessing, my friend. Seeing a compliment as that isn't something a lot of people are good at these days! I'm subscribed to Naptural85 and have watched many of her videos, even though I can't wear these hairstyles I'm still very interested in them, especially as I don't have many curly-haired friends and always wanted to know how they got certain hairstyles to "stick" when they won't in my hair :-)

    Your hair is beautiful!
    I have been natural for a long time now over 15 years and i lost some of it to stress; even got a bald spot. Now, I'm trying to grow my hair back and i have been using your recipe for the shea butter mix for daily moisturizer. I have seen good results since i've started using all natural products on my hair. Thank you for your great vídeos! :-)

    I love this method! Can't wait to try it! My only issue now is that I recently moved to Seattle Washington. The humidity has made it next to impossible to maintain my braid/twist outs and heatless curls. Within an hour my set falls then frizzes! Do you have any videos on combating humidity? I love being natural but i would love to rock more than banded ponytails or cornrows. I miss being able to do twisted updos cuz they fro out too due to humidity.
