I didn't know what I was watching at first. Then I became very sad because I was one of the lucky ones. On my deathbed I was given a second chance. I've managed to go back to "normal"? life. This movie reminded me of several things. I am thankful for my second chance and pray for the peace of others.
I think the translation could be better. Andrea was already infected with HIV but he dind´t want to accepted it. For Claudio was hard too. At the end Claudio did recognize it and choose life. It wasn´t Claudio wo infected Andrea. Alessandro, Claudio´s friend knew it. Dario was a beautiful human being and i think it was fantastic that he left Claudio.

I think the Italian language is very beautiful. Very nice to listen to and learn, I really don't mind watching movies in a foreign language, they seem more interesting anyway, and makes me more attentive.

Hard but a pretty good movie. Difficile ma un belissimo film. Adorei assistir a esse filme, mesmo falando de uma doença que muitos hoje já não falam mais e acreditam já ter deixado de existir. Claudio was unlikable from the start, arrogantly deluded that he was in control of his life. Andrea was willing to contract HIV because he "loved" Claudio, but deciding this on their first time, not counting making out in the car, belies his loving him. He didn't yet even know Claudio. Perhaps Claudio abandons Andrea so that he wouldn't be daily faced with what he did to him. In the end we hear in Claudio's thoughts the willfulness of his self-deception unabated. Sad, selfish & foolish mortals.
For those who complain about the translation into English, for once in your life try to understand another language that is not English. You're not the center of the Universe.
Of course Kim. In fact for you could be much more difficult to learn a European language than for those who speak English but you learnt. I also speak English, Spanish, Italian and studied a bit of French and other languages. Just have some fun and forget your ego and learn more about other cultures.

Non conoscevo il film. Se non sbaglio è uscito lo stesso anno delle Fate Ignoranti e purtroppo è stato eclissato sia per la presenza di attori più famosi e magari un marketing più massiccio. Sinceramente non credo abbia nulla di inferiore e sono molto contento di averlo scoperto x caso. Mi dispiace un po che da un po di anni purtroppo non si producano più questi film ma immagino ogni cosa abbia il suo tempo e i suoi gusti che non trovano sempre l'apprezzamento del pubblico. Good movie, Claudio was a mixed up selfish and gutless wonder!!! He dumped his partner in a terrible way and then walked out on the man he infected and who really loved him.Stupid man!!
Was that selfishness or self-centredness on the part of Claudio? Was Claudio afraid, full of fear, or unable to face the reality that he had to run away from Andrea? Was Claudio unable to love fully? Was Andrea the sacrificial lamb, or was Andrea totally blind or total misunderstood what love was all about? I guessed Dario was right to leave Claudio.
taking medicines and advice of the doctor is very important... they can live happily together, but i found out in this movie the person who infected the HIV virus is not aware for his own health and to the person he had sex... the movie is good there is a moral lessons and values... i do believe that the person had HIV can live as long as they take there medicines, always visit the doctor, healthy lifestyle and always have a protection in sex... our health is in our hand...
Wow, shock factor. I don't know which is worse, to knowingly have unprotected sex with someone whom you know has the virus, or to have casual unprotected sex period. I was shocked by how irresponsible each of them were.
