Thank you for this, first video I’ve seen go into detail about SPL suspension on the gr86 and I’ve been dying to learn more about them

Awesome! Glad to hear it helped. Let us know if you’d like us to quote you for anything and would be glad to chat about what you’re going to be using your GR86 for 🤙🏻

too bad city streets aren't racetrack smooth. in my local area, a main road was just redone over a mile length...the rolled asphalt is as bumpy as a fire road. surface looks smooth; however is anything but....

Cool video! (and that GR86 has some sexy body lines with that aero!) On the FR-S/BRZ/GT86/GR86 there's a unique benefit to adjusting the rear suspension bump behavior, which is something you can do with a full set of our arms. It really stabilizes the rear bump geometry and makes for a faster, more predictable car.

Hey Alan. I noticed on the rear sway bar endlinks they are adjustable but not "fully" like say for instance Whitelines rear endlinks. It looks to me like you must adjust SPL endlinks BEFORE you connect the top bolt of the endlink to the sway bar whereas on an endlink like Whiteline's, you can adjust the length of the endlinks AFTER you connect the top bolt to the sway bar. Am I right on this?
All of this to say- it seems it would be a little more difficult to delete preload with a SPL endlink setup vs a setup like Whiteline.
Side note, I have your LCAs installed on my gr86 and love them.

@@PBrooksSawyer Good question, because they sit in the arm it's actually easier to install our endlinks because the single jam nut is easy to get to. Now, in terms of finite adjustment, the turnbuckle style is preferred, but sway bars don't need to be that precisely installed unless you're running a monster 45mm bar on something with limited travel like a NASCAR.

Gotcha and thank you for response. I just want to make sure I have 0 preload and the Whiteline end links give me that. However, the problem I am having is that the Whiteline endlinks don't have a rotating lower rod end bearing like the SPL endlinks do. But they do have the turnbuckle style adjustment. I have been looking for rod end bearing endlinks on both sides with a turnbuckle style and I can't find one for this chassis! @@AlanAtSPL

This would be done through the RLCA & the TOE LINKS w/ EL correct? r, are you suggesting we would also need the RTA and end links for that desires result? I dont want heavier or beefier sway bars - can stock links work @alanatSPL

@@JeLifeCoach to set dynamic toe you will want the RTA arms. The RE (rear endlinks) aren't necessary for the dynamic alignment, they help in a different way: resetting the sway bar angle and eliminating preload (particularly with lowering and thicker sway bars).

Can I leave the stock rear end links when installing the SPL RLCA? What's the worst that may happen, provided I want to DECREASE the rear camber?

Have never tried that combination, but the best advice we could give you is to check the entire range of motion once everything’s together. Full droop, and then use a jack to compress the wheel/tire while watching for any weird articulation or anything coming too close to contact each other. The hard part if things are being pushed past their intended articulation/weird flexing.
