This makes her only a half-sister to the Vessels (including The Hollow Knight and our player character The Knight) and the only one of the Pale King's children to not be full of Void.
I like your Ze’mer redesign, however, I think it might have been more interesting to give her a big veil, seeing as she’s in mourning. It would also fit with the charcater’s shape
I'm very curious as to how you would handle Nosk, especially since the whole point of the design is that it's something very alien that poses as something more familiar, by crawling inside the husks of its victims with extreme flexibility. so you would really have to push the boundaries of how "human" it could look with the anatomy being so different from the leftover bits of the body it wore after revealing its true form that's all hypothetical though. I would have no clue how to handle that
Love the designs I would recommend trying to draw fan loved characters like Quirrel, Myla or Cloth. I feel like they have interesting designs that could pose a challenge

Grimm - Especially since you could make him be wearing a mask due to the circus theme (Persona 5 like) The Radiance - Big Moth Light Goddess. Pale King - King of hallownest, I don't think I have to say anything more.
love the way the armor looks also, funny you say, the hollow knight IS like an older version of the knight - spoiler warning for lore long story short, there was an orange corruption, so the pale king decided the best solution would be to lock it away inside of an empty vessel, so he made thousands of children out of void, and the hollow knight ended up being the chosen one, all of the corruption was stored in the hollow knight and they were locked away, and all of the other children died somehow, the knight (player) survived this ordeal and hasn’t aged a single bit - instead of dying, they may have been asleep for a long time (i don’t remember if anyone knows) i’m not the MOST knowledgeable about the lore, but that’s the basics of what i remember

One thing im fairly certain on, is that the characters of hollow knight use Nails and needles. With nails being specifically defined as sharpened, so i find it more likely that many of them would have blades rather than lances. Hornet uses a needle, which could be a spear or rapier. You're the artist, these are just my general understanding and headcanon. Great drawings
A huge thing that I personally loooove in armor is different styles of Bevors; the big collar piece of armor on some plate sets. Not terribly relevant to THIS video, but like it's something to look into, I'd think! Fantasy ones and realistic ones.

They're really only two types of weapons, blade like weapons(manly swords and their varatuons) and clubs. To be fair there are a set few that the argument for lances could be made such as with mantis lords. Though Almost all armed enemies tend to slash at you and the knight only ever slashes. And the lance are a purely thrusting weapon. Anyhow yard looks amazing especially loved your mantis lord interpretation.

I love that you took the hussar armor and put it on the mantis lords, hussars were cavalry with lances, and the mantis lords jump and charge around like nuts, it feels so fitting in hindsite! And I love what you did for my boy the hollow knights, especially the helmet, I love the little split in the visor connecting the to eye holes! Incredible art, and cant wait to see what you cook up next!

White lady, she's pale king's wife, of course she's not a knight. 4. Pure vessel, the pale king's favourite- uhm, pale king's ONLY child (if there is no hornet). He's the hollow knight before it's corrupted. 5. I also want to you redraw ze'mer/grey mourmer knight version, u can watch "ze'mer boss fight" in youtube to see her design, she's using huge nail and can swing it like a piece, her anthena kind also going up at fight.

My recomendation is to not pay atention to people trying to correct you int the lore... The lore is complicated and confusing and our knowledge if it is an educated guess at best... as such there are a bunch of people who think they know the lore but actually have some pretty fundemental misunderstandings... Yes The player character and the Hollow Knight are genderless... Hornet is not despite being their sibling... She is actually refered to as The Gendered Child by her stepmother the White Lady. Then again I have not played the game in a while and my memory could be a bit rusty... so take that with my innitial warning... TAKE EVERY ONE TRYING TO CORRECT YOUR LORE WITH A SIDE OF SALT WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HALF OF THE TIME! I am sorry for the caps but I felt like it really needed to be made clear.
I would like to think that Grey Mourner (Ze'Mere) was a dandelion (the one that's fully white with the flying seeds?), but it's likely she is actually a bug, but at the same time the White Lady could be a plant to, so Ze'mere could either be a plant or a bug, idk
This isn’t a critique, just a quick clarification in case you’re confused. The genderless characters are specifically the vessels, since they’re supposed to be «empty». This includes our player character the Knight, the hollow knight, the broken vessels and the siblings in the abyss. They are referred to in the game as «it» instead of he or she. While hornet is also a child of the pale king like the vessels, she isn’t a vessel, since she was conceived as a political alliance between Hallownest and Deepnest. She hasn’t been hollowed by the abyss as an egg. We know that she isn’t genderless because she is referred to as «the gendered one» by the white lady. She also has a personality and she can talk, things that vessels can’t/don’t have or do.
vessels have personalities, the knight for example, does nice things for no reason like sitting with quirrel, saving bretta or cloth, bringing flowers to people, those are all examples of the knight having a personality
in the game we are shown that vessels have minds and wills, voidheart confirms that vessels have wills and minds. when pale king said no will to break no mind to think etc he did t mean it literally but instead he wanted a vessel that had a mind that couldnt think, and a will that couldnt break.
