- Cherry was known as a pretty cowardly high schooler. Her so-called friends didn’t respect her so to try and prove herself she agreed to be the first person in town to try wandering into the old Hollowsville mines. Disaster struck when the ground beneath her crumbled and she fell miles down into the caverns where nightmares hid around every corner. For a kid afraid of bugs, the creature’s in old Bill pellen’s mine were the ultimate terror. The question stood, could she overcome her fears to find a way to safety?
After tons and tons of requests for a Hollow Knight episode, I finally started playing and learning about the lore to make today’s video. I thought it would be fun to redesign Hollow Knight characters into creepypasta sorts of creatures and considered making them demons or SCPs, but when I got the idea for this horror story in the vein of Goosebumps I decided to just make it a self contained story.
In this episode I redesign The Knight, The False Knight, Hornet and the Nosk from Hollow Knight. Here’s hoping we get Hollow Knight SIlksong soon, but maybe this can help hold people over til it arrives :P

Maybe because they’re all insectoid, but this episode had some really great and unique designs. Definitely hope you do more, I love insect type stylization in your style
A Monstrous variant of Nosk was incredibly fitting, considering it as the one boss that plays with direct horror elements, with awful spiderlike movements and empty cries, not to mention the whole "mimics recognizable characters" deal. Makes me wonder if we'll see a certain... variant of it only found in a DLC.

Basicaly any creature from tge Deepnest would work to be honest🤣🤣 Prince Zote makes sence. Or Mantis lords, The colector and the soul guy from City of tears. I never remwmber the name of his.
It would be hilarious if Zote was the only thing the protag wasn't scared of after all he's seen.

I actually yelled out YES! When I heard this cause I knew exactly what was coming and they are my one of my absolute favorite bosses just from the design and their atmosphere alone.

Personally I find the story of Hollow Knight to be more of a tragedy than anything else. I personally would prefer for you to turn Hollow Knight into a fantasy kingdom with bug knights and everything. If you end up doing that then I propose turning Ori characters (from Ori and the Blind Forest, and Ori and the Will of the Whisps) into shrine maidens as a counterpart series. Genuine religion and faith counteracts the corruption and tragedy of the knights, magic to their swords, a female predominate series to a male predominate one, and Ori's light to Hollow Knight's darkness. I always saw Hollow Knight and the Ori games as counterparts and I would like to see a world where that truly is the case. After all every world has its horrors and its wonders.
Also bug fables, another indie-bug related game. It's structure is like that of the original Paper Mario, and its super underrated. Please do one for those too.

Ok but the Knight has no gender that's something mentioned several times. Vessels are just kinda... Vessels
Also there's just as much magic as there is weaponry. Ori's cool in its own right but it's not as much of a mirror counterpart as you think
@@uncroppedsoop I think you misread, knights are predominantly male and aren't really known for their magical powers much less being religious. Since they are being turned into fantasy knights that applies.
A Spider-Man DnD story would be cool with all the stuff coming out.
Also, what about Warcraft characters as superheroes? Controversy aside, the designs would be really cool in your style…maybe Jaina, Illidan, Nozdormu, and Thrall as heroes with Kel’Thuzad, Cho’Gall, or Azshara as villains?

It's honestly really cool just how much justice you did Nosk; it was always one of my favourites in the game conceptually and seeing it executed as such a viscerally intimidating abomination rather than a kind of disappointing boss is more awesome than I could concisely put to words. You pretty much nailed (pun intended) how I'd imagine it would be to meet the thing in-person

(there are some discrepancies I take issue with, though. First: The Knight has "no voice to cry suffering" so it wouldn't be able to cry out in pain from Nosk's attacks, second: Hornet is a spider and she pulls her needle back by spider silk, third: though they are indeed based on the pincers of real insects, both The Knight and Hornet's head adornments are actually horns, not pincers, and fourth: False knight is actually a maggot who stole the armor of a stronger bug (specifically the shell of one of the five great knights), so False knight's body doesn't actually fill the entire exoskeleton they wield and therefore hitting them between the joints as The Knight did wouldn't do any damage. I don't mean any insult, just wanted to mention, also nothing's wrong with nosk, so good job on that!)

Oh, and also, though I'm no expert, from what I understand, the knight is actually a surviving experiment to harness some sort of abyssal energies, even having an ultimate transformation during the end game, and that orange goop is part of a mind controlling contagion that it was immune to, or something. I don't know the full details though.

If you did heath hurricane reynolds, I recommend you make it a small fairy-like creature so that it'd be hard for him to hit and he would exhaust himself trying to hit it. Furthermore the creature can play a lullaby like tunes from itself to help him go to sleep faster. After he is incapacitated, it'll inject him with a lethal venom

Suggestions:
Famous Christmas Characters if they were the Harry Potter universe and create a new narrator character to narrate more future videos of you putting famous characters into Harry Potter. Here's a couple of ideas:
- The narrator could be a Hagrid, a Hagrid-like character, an house elf, a Hogwarts professor, or student.
- Kevin McCallister: The events of Home Alone and Lost in New York still happens. He is a muggle-born, gets a letter from Hogwarts, get sorted into Ravenclaw, and in the same year as Luna Lovegood. Kevin McCallister forms a friendship with Luna Lovegood, Fred and George Weasley, and Neville Longbottom and looks up to Harry Potter. During the Goblet of Fire, Marv and Harry sees Kevin and follow him to Hogwarts, and hijinks ensue.
- Clark Griswold: He was sorted into Gryffindor part of the Marauders and after graduating joins the First Wizarding War. After the first Wizarding War, he was horrified by what happened in it, and moves to the United States, gets married, has kids, and lives a normal muggle life. The bad news is that he was curse with a bad luck curse by Bellatrix, meaning that everything always goes wrong. Dumbledore ask him to return to be a maintenance staff member. He joins Dumbledore's Army to teach them Defense Against the Dark Arts. I think it would be funny if Clark goes on a huge rant on how terrible Umbridge similar to the rant he had about his boss in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
- Frosty the Snowman: (Suggested by SuperSongbird21) Given that magic in the Harry Potter universe can make statues and suits of armor walk, I'm thinking Frosty could be the result of a similar spell that went wrong somehow and made him genuinely sentient. Then the students who did the spell (maybe Luna and Neville) try to keep him safe from Argus Filch the caretaker (who wants them to get in trouble for this and wants Frosty gone because he left wet footprints everywhere) and hilarity ensues.
- Santa Claus: He is a wizard who is the oldest living wizard known to the Wizarding World. And every year at Christmas, he visits Hogwarts to bring gifts to the students. One year, Dumbledore asks him to be a professor at Hogwarts during the Half-Blood Prince. He agrees to the job and creates a class about making presents and spending Christmas cheer using magic.

I LOVED THIS and would loved more episodes in this universe/ with this character
Despite this being an overused phrase, this video is underrated. Seriously, I'm not usually a fan for horror but I love how you interpreted the surface and humans into this story. I also like how the Knight was a sort of twist hero in the story, defending Cherry. This kept me hooked! And, the art? Masterpieces, the tone and mood of this underground nightmare really stayed in the drawings.
Part 2!! The story is so good, love how the main bug helps you survive
This was absolutely beautiful. I really love seeing such epic bugs, or arthropods as I like to call them. This spawns a great idea. What if you make literally any genre, and cross them into bugs. Maybe you could do My Hero characters as bugs. You don’t think it’s a cool idea? Well just try to imagine an elephant as a bug. Trust me, bugs are the right way to go.

Request log Upload 38: A Terraria or Madness Combat-focused episode. Terraria as DnD monsters or dragons, MC characters as various anime, Transformers, or anything else you can think of. They could both easily be made into amazing art pieces no matter what you decide to mix them with.

Awesome work with the Hollow Knight, Christian. I'm a relative stranger to the game, but your story perked up my interest. I hope I'm not bugging you (heh) with a few questions.

1) 100% yes! Probably after Mara's main arc is complete that'll happen 😁

3) Pokemon as SCPs or Phobias as Demons. They're super similar style wise. I like the background templates for Pokemon better, but the limited colour scheme better in the demon eps 😁

I am not know a lot about the game, Hollow Knight. Nevertheless, I found this video to be honest incredible. Thank you so much for doing this video, Christian. Your designs were for the characters were super amazing and the lore was brilliantly written in a way that made me want to check this game out.

I loved this episode! I really hope that this gets a part 2. Not only was the art as absolutely fantastic as always, but the story was ingaging as well. I can't wait to see where the story goes next!

I absolutely want more of these, I've gotten really into Hollow Knight and seeing these are just so cool and you do them all so much justice. So i hearby recommend Quirrel and maybe Dung Defender.
