Use a crock-pot. Fill it half way with water, add ingredients, low setting. What a fragrance !

Beautiful video. I do magical simmering pots all the time but I never thought about straining out the liquid for future use. Brilliant!!! Thanks Lady MC and a blessed Yule to you and yours.

I want to do this with my kids on Thanksgiving! They will love it …one of the few things 17yr boy & 8yr old boy want to do together! I have been searching for a good recipe. The perfect one of course… it’s always from you! I ❤️ you.🥰😳🤗

    What a wonderful gift idea!
How could I make the liquid stay fresher longer? Maybe add in a bit of alcohol of some kind? Similar to what is used when making Florida water. 🤷‍♀️

Wow I was cleaning up the kitchen this am and spotted the jarred liquid remnants of my first simmer pot and thought to myself "I wish Magical Crafting would do a Yule simmer pot recipe" 😍💚

Sounds wonderful, I'm going to try this, and do a jar for a friend to use. Bet it smells divine, and all natural ingredients. I brought some pine branches home today from my walk.

I am summering this now. I could feel the energy from everything as I put UT in the simmering pot. I put a small dish of star anise at the head of my bed on not husband's side. He has bad dreams often. I wish I could share a pic if my summering pot.

As always, everything you do it’s such a good idea! I truly enjoy watching all of your videos to learn a few things and make some! I know it’s very simple to do with ingredients we all have at home but some of us don’t have pines around or leave near where we can have some but to me, if you make some of the simmering potpourri for your store I sure will get me a jar or two!😀

Great video. What do you do with the left over things ? Also how often do you do a simmer pot ?

  • @Forestwhispers444

I would use the non toxic marker in the simmer pot, those permanent markers have chemicals.

Great video! Just curious- will the apples and oranges rot or mold in the jar of left in there too long? I want to make this and mail it to family so I'm curious how it keeps. Thanks!

It will be fine for a long time if they are fully dried. I think eventually everything would go bad over several months.

Thank You for the recipe, My first practiced Yule is this year (10 year Heathen).
I do have a serious question. Can I drink it? (You know Heathens just have to drink what looks good)
The tonic? Left over. Don't see anything in there that can't be made into a tea of some sort.
Anyway, Thank You for sharing and travel well.

I am not sure how that would taste. But it is all natural ingredients that are food safe, so I suppose you could.

I have a question 🙋🏻‍♀️ what do you do with the stuff in the pot throw it away? Or throw it out side

    • @heidichamberlain9548
      @heidichamberlain9548 4 года назад +1

Since all of the ingredients are completely natural, I would say that it would be completely fine to throw them outside or even better into your compost if you have it. So long as it doesn't contain any kind of salt, it will be completely fine to put back into nature to break down.

Good content, but the overly loud music is distracting and unnecessary. I really dislike having to stop and back up because I couldn't hear the voice over the music.
