Thank you for your compliments! We use a mix of hand work with flat boxes and skimming blades

the drywall is not even close to screwed off to any building code anywhere. 8'' on the joints and 12'' in the field is industry standard, NOT 24'' on center

This project is residential and in my area there is no code for residential drywall. If we did commercial we would follow code to spec depending on fire rating and partition wall type. 7 years doing drywall, 4 years having a drywall business we get called because we are some of the best and most experienced. After all these years and countless projects for contractors and home owners we have never gotten a complaint about the work we do and our process… let alone someone telling us that their structure or drywall longevity was affected negatively by out screw pattern. We glue every sheet and the purpose of drywall adhesive is no minimize the use of fasteners and reduce the amount of nail/screw pops. Going back to projects we did years ago drywall still looks great and if we get a call back because of a failure almost always because of underlying structural issues, not because incorrect drywall installation. After many years and countless hours of overtime doing drywall installation, finishing and also painting I trust my process. If you can tell me a reason why i have to do 12’’ on center instead of 24’’ ill change my process, but from my experience that would just create more work for me. Drywall adhesive grabs a lot better than screws once dried and if applied correctly.
