I always enjoy ur videos...they r very helpful with body swaps....I put fashionista 207 on the Christy hiker doll with the pink shorts and it's a good match....u dont get made to move and shes loses her curvy body but she has better articulation....u could also use the barbie extra doll with the pink braids since she matches as well...207 is my fav from this wave as well so it was a bummer not to have a mtm option...oh well maybe one day lol.

I gave my Fashionista 209 the Blue Top/Green Pants Yoga body.
Is 209 a good match for the blue top? Everytime I go to compare the skin tones blue top always seems a bit too orange for 209

For Fashionista no. 206, the MTM Career Volleyball Player doll is a good match too.
Hi Faith! I’ve seen other collectors heat up the upper thigh joint for a made to move doll and pop it out, as it is the same joint connection as a prosthetic leg. They then pop on the prosthetic leg onto the made to move body, and it looks good! Only downside is that the prosthetic leg is unable to bend, and you’re left with the leftover body being unarticulated with a random made to move leg 😂 Just an option, as you mentioned you hadn’t figured out how to make him made to move - they have the same joint socket! 🙂
I mean, I know people with above knee prosthetics who would say that's not inaccurate to real life

Dude, THANK YOU for this info. I would love to put an articulated prosthetic leg on a MTM doll, but I was terrified to try and disassemble one. Not only is this now an option, but it makes me feel better about potentially repairing dolls in the future!

this is so helpful !! i usually stick to rh/mh dolls but i recently got fashionista 205 when i went to see the movie and shes my first barbie :) i wanted to get her a new body, tons of clothes, etc. so knowing which mtm bodies have her skintone helps a ton!! (side note, does anyone know if 205’s hair is poly or smth else? im guessing its poly(unfortunately) but i wanna be sure before i try anything)
