From open gangways on the R211Ts, to full color display signs on every class, the R211 series from Kawasaki is the first cars to bring an all new look to the NYC subway in over 2 decades. These cars are the first in a hot minute to have the different classes that we're used to.
All cars in this video are R211A cars, which are the base model of the R211 series. Enjoy!

    Hey Dash
    Great video, as always.
Those cars not only look cleaner. but they appear to be far less noisy. Am I correct?
I grew up in East New York, Brooklyn and am still awaiting word of that proposed express rail from Jamaica to East New York to Canarsie and points west. I understand work on that may or will begin at long last (it had been discussed for decades without any progress being made on it). While I'm glad that it may or will get done, sadly for me it won't be completed for another 15 to 20 years. I'm in my 70s now and will not live long enough to see it come to fruition as I had hoped.
