The first few minutes of this was filmed right at the death of the show when we'd finished running to the sequence. I thought it was odd changing a loco on the Flying Scotsman set and then when 'Tornado' came round with the Pullmans it was obvious what was happening. Still, as I spend all my time round the back, it's nice to see what things look like on the pretty side.
Much of the track appears to have been handmade, which on a layout of this size is very commendable, and what coupling system are you using. A shame that the sequence running was not filmed. Scale speed or not, it looks like a layout that will provide hours of fun and entertainment. Congratulations
Actually, all the track is PECO, although Graham does alter the spacing and geometry to make it more prototypical. If you're interested in seeing more of the operating sequence, there is a DVD available.
Lovely layout that would have been that much better had the equipment been run at scale speeds. Some of this historic power was fast, but not _bullet train_ fast. 😉
As has been said earlier, we were in the last moments of the show here and from about the 6 minute mark we just set two trains running to keep people entertained while we start work on boxing up the stock. You can see that the station and yard are gradually being emptied of wagons and carriages so the fiddle yard team can put them away for transport.

I enjoyed it either way, nice to see plenty moving

I was just happy to see something moving, far too many things sat still over the weekend
