Antonio Blanca's DRON-E is an atmosphere generator that uses samples as the building blocks for unreal textures and drones. This video takes you on a flyover of Antonio's wonderful creation and gets you set for your own explorations. (For reference, you can think of DRON-E as sitting somewhere between REAKTOR's Space Drone and SKANNER.)

Right on target again, Brent. I've used this ensemble since it came out and have become relatively comfortable with it, but this video illustrated several things that I hadn't quite gotten around to yet. Great work...

It's also nice to hook up Spiral of Mr. Blanca's Nod-E to this. Get some really cool generative textures and soundscapes this way.

Hey, thanks for the tut! I just discovered this ensemble a few weeks ago but was sort of at a loss as to how it actually works. Very helpful. Again, thanks!! :)

I just starting using this ensemble yesterday and it is up there with Metaphysical Function for creating high-quality drones.

Definitely... I'm adding it to combo of ensembles I've been using more of lately, Skanner XT, S-Layer (Twisted Tools) and Antonio Blanca's Lemur Space Drone Mod. It's enough to keep busy, to say the least.

Awesome tutorial as always Brent! I've been playing around with this ensemble all afternoon and it really produces some fantastic sounds. Quick question, what screen capture utility do you use to record Reaktor? I'd like to record some of the ensembles I've created into video in Windows 7 64bit. Cheers!

Can one load their own samples to Drone-E? If not, what sampler ens. do you particularly like, if any in Reaktor?
    Thanks much

What PC spec are you using Brent? I notice Reaktor's CPU usage is in the 70%'s.

It looks to me like it's in the 7.0-7.X range. Some Reaktor ensemble's can get out of control though. I've got 3770k CPU and I've seen Reaktor go to 40%. Most ensembles are in the normal range for a soft synth.
