I've been admiring overlanding on youtube for a few weeks now. I love your family and your good attitude. I live in Memphis, TN now but I grew up in Tempe. Super surreal to see all those intersections and places I recognize!
Hi from Perth, Western Australia guys. I really liked this episode. The way you are presenting is really nice. The comedy and general banter makes me smile. Thank you.
Just coming around to this now, however the sequence at 12:00 was just a prime example of me in the morning haha! Recently stumbled across your channel and just finished S1 of your journey. Huge inspiration for me and makes me push for my traveling goals. Im 20 and currently working full time and would reallly like to live on the road and travel. Your videos are a perfect example to what it could be like for me. Thank you!
Always a pleasure to watch your travels. If you are ever passing through Pasadena, California and in need of a home cooked meal, our house is open to you! All the best, Dave
Here's a coffee tip...Dollar Tree sells the same identical coffee in a wrapper that looks just like Bustelo but it's only $1...we go through quite a bit of coffee so we really appreciate the deal and you will too. I buy 10 at a time ($10) and have it around, always.
As always, another wonderful video. I really enjoy y'alls family overland videos. You bring joy when I watch. Your daughter is so adorable when in front of the camera. God Bless, enjoy y'alls trip, and thank you for taking the time to share with us. Stay safe out there. Squirrel 🤠
Was on the highway out of Cloudcroft east from Mayhill just a couple of days ago & took Elk Canyon RD toward 16 Springs too. Small world. Nice traveling there.
i guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Rayan Turner I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
My wife and I got our start in the Sacs also. I recognized the spot you camped. You went right by our favorite canyon to camp in. We see elk there most every time we go. Keep it up! Safe travels!
Thanks for the short revisit (for me) of Phoenix. I remember now why I left. To many people and traffic is really bad LOL. It was a nice place to live back in the 60s, 70s, 80s and part of the 90s. Then the boom hit. You guys rock!
Just discovered your video. I have spent some time in New Mexico and Arizona, great footage and video. It only took about 5 minutes to realize that I loved watching and really enjoyed the footage of your family. Don’t know you guys but we fell in love with watching you guys as a family. Keep up the great work, info and videos...very real, love it. God bless and keep it going! Joe K. And family
I’ve always loved following your adventures. Your whole channel reminds me of my family. The 4Runner, the rooftop tent, camping, Overlanding, blonde wife, as much family time as possible, my 6 yr old daughter..... it’s like a mirror to my own life. ROFL!! You take some much more adventurous trips than we do, but we do travel some of the same trails. The Enchanted Rockies trail was a fun one.
hi guys, glad to see you have picked up on the italian expresso coffee maker. I have been using them for +25 years. You can thin down your expresso coffee with hot water to get an Americana (invented for the US soldiers in WWII, espresso was too strong) or, my preferred method is to reduce the amount of coffee in the filter. Coffee wise i would recommend Lavazza (not sure if you get this on CONUS)
Hi guys great to see you back on our screens once more . You were missed . Sorry to hear of your ongoing troubles and I hope you get things sorted out both promptly , and to your satisfaction . First piece to camera Kevin you can just about make out the soreness of the whole episode that is undoubtedly and understandably still very raw . Try and remember everything happens for a reason . As none of us can neither know nor predict the future with any kind of accuracy . This may well have been a blessing in disguise . Who knows ? Perhaps it may even be opening a door to even bigger and better things ? Great to see the whole family bounce back though and get back to what we as avid viewers know and love . Sarah's piece to camera r.e. coffee was a very welcome change . You seem to be getting more and more comfortable with talking to camera Sarah and you might not know it but you are a very funny lady . I'm soooo glad you coped with editing that segment Kevin LOL . But I think mama bear and papa bear need to step up their game because Caroline was once again the star of the show . Cuteness overload right there . What a nice fitting start to series two . To go back to where it all started . Very befitting . We really are looking forward to this new season . To find out where you end up and to share the sights you see on your travels . Great to see you back guys . Drive safe . Have fun. Fattrucker
I am living in all the way to the east in Asia. Was waiting for the whole time for this episode. It is always amazing to watch you guys and get inspiration. We don't have all such facilities in our area as the off roading and camping is not popular here and its a bit difficult to camping all alone. Any how you guys are inspiration to me and my wife going out all alone and enjoying the weather and nature far away from the city crowed. will be waiting for your next episode buddy.
I stumbled across this channel when your first Alaska video Premiered, and I have watched every single video since. I absolutely love the content that you guys make. Plus I live in North Pole, Alaska. It was awesome to see you guys go places I have never been in the 31 years I have lived here. And it is awesome to see you all continue your journey south. I hope things with the motor-home end up smoothing out. Cheers and safe travels!!
Great to see you guys back on the road again... Looking forward to your Sadona trail video. We did Broken Arrow back in April on our way from PA to Easter Jeep Safari. Beautiful area. Safe Travels and God Bless!
You guys always seem to match stunning scenery and visuals with an amazing sound track 👍👍 Everyone's talking about coffee and grinders at the moment...perhaps I need to investigate some more and add to my growing pay load. New Mexico looks stunning. Keep safe and if course smiling y'all. Cheers from the UK 🇬🇧
I LOVE Cafe Bustello. Great tasting and cheap. My only issue is that when I ditched the Keurig for a traditional coffee maker it became bitter. Upon research I found that because it's group espresso style (really fine) it doesn't work as well in normal coffee makers which need normal to course ground coffee.
@@LifestyleOverland You are welcome. May I ask you something? How do you do with you child´s schooling? It may be hard for you to deal with it and make it work with your life style.
Love to see you guys on the road again. The coffee maker... I have the same one for many years and I use the Lavazza coffee. I think it's better than Bustelo. Order on Amazon. Any Lavazza or Segafredo Italian coffee it's the best. Smoother and better taste. Any way. Love that coffee maker and always goes with me when camping or in case of a hurricane and no power.... works wonders. Good luck for this new season and hope all thinks works for the best with great travel stories to tell. Keep it coming guys . Always love to see your videos.
Another wonderful episode guys sending best wishes your way from me and mine to you and yours as always stay safe watch your six and adventure on..... slowly catching up to present day
caught the last 5 minutes of the Premiere, can't wait to watch the entire video this weekend. So nice to see the entire family on the road again, take care guys.
Believe it or not walmart has started carrying a coffee called smash coffee. It is really good. I have ordered green coffee and have roasted my own for years so I know about flavor throws from differant beans. Anyway , if I have to buy coffee smash is my go to. Price is hard to beat for the flavor you get also. Just my 2 cents.
ALSO DO YOU LIKE YOUR SOFT TOP TENT BETTER THAN A HARD TOP TENT ? I GUESS THEY'RE TWO DIFFERENT ANIMALS PER SAY ? & THE SOFT SHELLS CAN HOLD MORE PEOPLE / ROOM ! JUST TRYING TO FIGURE WHICH ONE WOULD BE BETTER FOR ME ?
A quick question, what kind of weather radio and emergency communication gear do you use? And you're so lucky to have the ability to roam the wilderness so freely. Thanks for the great videos..

That's Cuban coffee! The BEST! And that coffee maker is also cuban! Though it says made from Italy, they stole the idea from Cuba. Cubans have the best cigars and coffee!!! So cool to see you guys drinking it.
Really great content here. love the misses having her now slot. I think you should try some episodes from everyones view for the full episode. Thanks for sharing Kevin!
Explaining how this italian coffee makers work...I'm from Spain, 46 years old. I don't recall for how long this things have been used in Europe, but my mom was using them probably when I was wearing diapers...Nothing wrong, it's actually kind of even cute to see an american explaining how they work in 2019...Like they just came out...Sweet couple/ family, I love your videos. "Bye...camera!" Too flipping cute, that one ;-) TOP TIP: get an extra gasket for the espresso pot. It's great to have on hand just in case. And don't over tighten the two pots together. Makes it hard to get them apart later and wears out the gasket. I love mine!
Temporarily. We were setup for solo runs while in Tennessee and didn't have the chance to take it off, plus thought someone might need a place to crash at Expo 👍
Of all the great things this channel has done, I think one of the best was introducing me to Upstate! Love all the content.
Love it when she says goodbye to the camera. Put a smile on my face ; )
