My favorite part of this video was Flats routinely referring to the Bronze players as "the bots."

@@rogue_ruggie no offence meant, everyone in metal rank is (below) average at best. There is a noticeable difference between bronze and gold although sometimes when you play in gold you wouldn't think so. I think in bronze allot of people don't have a very good pc or have the knowledge or mechanical skill or some combination thereof. There is not a noticeable difference between high silver and 14-1500 bronze for example from my experience playing dps in as low as 1700. People there don't know how to counter something correctly or when a hero choice wouldn't work or how to make it work. Allot of people would say roadhog is very good against Winston right? Well not always in silver. If you can't hit the hook often enough to secure kills then is it really that good? You can also play rein against the Winston and repeatedly hammer the Winston whenever he used his shield you can just shatter. The other day I had a 2400 SR Moira in my team in a 2300 SR game that told our lucio hey Lucio you know you can speed up the payload right with speedboost? Well now you know. Let me be clear, that's not the case payload moves faster the more people are on it with maximum speed reached when 3 people are on it. Having 4 people or speedboost does not speed it up more
I would love to hear people pretend to do comms for the bots. Like they spectate an individual bot's POV and try to comm in a way that explains the bot's behaviors.

I'm telling you, the reason OW2 gets delayed is because Blizzard are still struggling with the AI for the PVE 😂
He's using custom AI, the official bots don't have Tracer, Doomfist, Orisa, Sigma and Moira for example. The official bots only have Zarya and Hog from tanks and Ana, Lucio and Zen from supports
The Zen and Roadhog bots go hard tho

Maybe they may add an AI teammate if one were to leave the match or disconnect. It wouldn't be the same as a real player, but maybe lessen the blow of a leaver.

Blizzard's official AI also go to spawn! I was playing hard AI yesterday and as the payload was approaching the last point, Roadhog and Zarya went to our spawn after team killing us and Zarya graved us in front of spawn to make sure we couldn't contest lol. Roadhog even hooked someone out of the grav just to one shot them. BM doesn't even begin to describe it.
A team of bot tracer would be a thing to see.
Do the bots ever actually shoot the rein shield?
The biggest advantage bots have over the bronzes is their aim is much, much better. Especially if they explicitly avoid shooting rein shield, he explicitly counters them because 1: he disables their shots and 2: he doesn't need aim to do damage.
Not to mention that they run straight into range of his hammer. Rein just hard counters all of the bots

How about a Bots vs Bronzes where you force the bronzes to use hard heroes and comps? Like make the bronzes play the Classic Dive comp of Winston-D.Va-Tracer-Genji-Lucio-Zenyatta for example. That would be a challenge for bronzes as it takes bit of coordination, has mechanically demanding heroes and most importantly has low healing. Bronze players are used to taking big amounts of damage and requiring huge heals (Like Ana-Moira) so this would be a challenge.
But the most important thing would be to ban all the easy heroes: Junkrat, Reaper, Bastion, Pharah, Torb, Symmetra, Moira, Mercy, Rightclick Cassidy, Soldier, Orisa, Rein, Hog etc.
And Mei should be banned too of course, it's cringe how they need to use Mei to win against bots...

Rein makes a difference for actual lower ranked games as well.
The metal ranks are in LOVE with Rein since season 1, and not without reason.
Rein helps in two regards: he dominates their suicidal brawls, and provides shields for suicidal peaking/against snipers.
For the same reasons Rein loses a good bit of value in the higher ranks, players need less suicide-prevention.

you could probably have someone make a custom with varying AI difficulties for this in workshop kinda like the swing trainer and the shatter block trainer for the rein but to play as a normal fucking rein
Making bots real strong isn't the hard part, the hard part is the pathfinding AI.
Duel bots in the workshop don't need improved pathfinding, hence focus on what bots can excel at: aim and ability use. ;)
this already exists. they are called the Legendary Bots workshop. and they are really good. they even use commands with each other like i need healing. and they play 2-2-2. but their biggest weakness is the ledge. the pathfinding is difficult to program to make them aware of where the ledges are when they are walking.

Apart from the Rein I think it's also the maps, of course there's the hole but also the map where they can go under the point. For some reason the bots like doing that and then get confused. As if standing under the point would contest it.

Torb doesn’t use his turret, moira just leeroy jenkins into the enemy, and ledges are the ultimate enemy for bots
Seems like bots can't do shit except shooting, so would be a good idea to have characters that are focused on shooting like Orisa, Soldier, Ashe and Torb.

That last round tracer was the first death of the bots and she killed her self. the first bronze kill of the bots was at 30%
