I did a mini VOD review of this exact game before flats did. Talked to the guy in the general chat of Flats’ server. He said he doesn’t play with Sound which is why he didn’t hear things like the junk tire behind him

@@chagis100 i have a friend in bronze who plays on console. they hate headphones and play everything with sound off, then get confused when we can all react to something before they know whats going on. they do it in dead by daylight too, which is arguably worse

I played OW on my Macbook a few times when I was dorming for college and was itching to suffer. Surprisingly I got a decent 60fps and the quality was better than it is on my potato pc. But after loading the game a few times, the ping started getting worse and worse and I had to stop. Not to mention the computer was desperately fighting for forgiveness: overheating and loud af from the internal fan.
And screenshotting on a MacBook is even easier than on Windows… it’s shift+cmd+4 lol

I used to play overwatch on my laptop
and it actually ran pretty well.
Just put the CPU at a consistent 80 degrees, and now the battery on that thing is so fried that it has to stay plugged in or it dies instantly.

I would say I missed Overwatch if that thought wasn't immediately buttressed by the ptsd that comes along with remembering how bad I was and why I quit in the first place. Still enjoy watching the gameplay tho. Bronze games are fun to watch.

I mean if flats is still healthy, if he goes to his doctor and the doctor say its all good then by all means its fine. But i personally cant see how he will live a decent life down the line with the amount of weight he has on

My friend looked similiar to flats and he had back problems and high pressure and it could get even worse in older age but he started eating more healthy, going for walks and he is looking way better now. I mean its flats choice but his streamer job also doesnt help him at all cause he just sits most of the time
@@Dartnitt Yeah i mean in the long run it would most probably be an issue. Ive got friends around my age, 25 to 30 who are that large but have absolutely no health problems and have cleared medicals. But yeah in the long run itll prolly be bad. I mean at the end of the day its up to flats but hopefully if it does slowly start getting bad, he will cut some weight and he d prolly enjoy it.
Bro don't underestimate the laptop life... I have a System76 laptop with an upgraded 1070 GFX card in there. I also run Overwatch under Linux using Lutris (never really was a Windows guy, been using Linux since 1996) and I easily get over 100 fps at 1600x900.

Mainly console now, but previously played Overwatch on a MacBook Pro without any performance issues. Intel Macs were PC laptops that supported dual booting and official nvidia drivers. Once Windows was installed, it came down to ensuring you had proper cooling in order and stripping out all the bloat from Windows. At least until Apple started a petty feud with nvidia, but that was pretty close to the M1 transition. For productivity tasks, Apple silicon has been worlds better than Intel, but new Macs would not be remotely advisable for Overwatch. Or gaming of any kind. But prior to the transition, they weren't terrible if you didn't mind diving into getting a solid dual-boot setup configured.
Lol I actually managed to climb to plat as mercy playing on a laptop with less than 50 fps. Mercy was the only thing I could play

When I started playing OW in 2017 I only had a MacBook Pro (2012 edition) and you only get 30 FPS consistently on 50% render scale. I'd love to know how that guy's screen looks like.

I have used Kovak's, and it's pretty decent imo. But it's the only one I've tried so who knows!

God, whenever I watch one of these replays, the team colours mess with me. It should either be completely neutral (meaning not red v blue and not showing the objective for one side) or it should always adjust to the PoV of the person who saved the replay because watching from the perspective of the opposing team is so weird.

I’ll be honest, I’ve played OW on my dying MacBook Pro and lemme tell you that when I say it was hell, I mean it was literal hell. Disc partitioning was already a hassle, and being able to “at least play” is not rewarding.
If you think it’s worth a shot to try, it really isn’t. Even if you’re desperate.

I too play on a laptop, but it's no macbook. It's a Dell office laptop, that I think performs pretty decently for not having a gpu. Also, I have no musepad and my mouse is also just some regular wireless office mouse, with no software, wich means no dps settings. Sometimes I wonder, would I really be better at the game if I had a normal setup

Thats what ive noticed with lower ranked people. Their dpi is astronomically high. I was silver/gold when i first started, but i learned to have a low dps an climbed up to nearly masters.
