I am Bombo... It's so surreal to hear a nearly twenty year old song written about you and ... real people and places and memories are sung about, which relate directly about you... I'm for ever grateful to Melissa and Scott R.

I ordered a Descendents t shirt from SST (1997?) and they sent me a ton of promo stuff, including this cassette. The tape didn't survive the years. Glad to see this here!
I remember thinking when this came out around the same time as ALL "Pummel" that this SHOULD have been the ALL record. Over the years, "Pummel" has grown on me (I still don't understand the cover), but this is still fantastic.
I’ve owned this cassette since I was 14. I’m 40 now. Just now finally listening to it on this great platform called RUclips for lack of a cassette player. It’s good. I like it. Derivative, but who cares. Not I
I got this sent to me by accident when I ordered CDs from SST. Which was good thing, because it was the best album of the bunch. It was destiny. The universe knew I had to hear this.
Brutal, ferocious, three-piece bass, drums and guitar right here. And Scott R. is fuckin' stellar. Can't stop listening to this. Can't believe that Green Day or Blink 182 ever found success when there's musicianship like this out there.
Well said. Its all in who you know and who you blow. Thats the REAL side of rock and roll...good musicians are ignored while mediocre bullshit is pumped 24/7 into the mediocre psychy of America
I actually saw Goodbye Harry on this tour- opening for the Vandals I think. It was awesome. Odd that I saw Blink 182 as an opening band on that same stage around that time (7 Seconds show, Blink was not good.) That said, I saw Green Day as an opener for Bad Religion not long before they blew up and they were friggin' great. What a weird and great time to go to punk rock shows. But anything ScottR does has a very special place in my heart. What a good dude.
To be clear- I went to that show to see Goodbye Harry. I don't think I even stuck around for the entire Vandals set. I still have the flyer somewhere...
same. got sent this as a freebie when i ordered a black flag shirt from sst around 97. looking back listened to this record way more than i did any black flag record🤷♂️
I think Guns N Wankers were the closest UK band. "I Don't Mind" off of I Can Smoke especially reminds me of G&W as well as "Head Cold" from this record.

Bombo, life is long and hard, if you ain't, figured that out by now, retie you shoes and tighten you belt buckle. We are still in this feels...
Best song on the album. Hope you're doing well Bombo
I too got this as a free CD when I ordered a bunch of stuff from SST sometime in the early 2000s. I loved it for years! So good to hear it again.

I remember talking to Bill about Scott and All at warped tour in 97. I was kinda mad about all kinda disbanding. He kinda met me half way on that.

I got this CD as a freebie when I purchased the Screaming Trees catalog direct from SST Superstore back in ~'97. Loved it.
do you still have it?
Wow this underground Scott Reynolds still holds up today,

I love this album and I've listened to it so many times, it's cool seeing other people recently discovering it like I did
this is such a perfect album
Have the CD. So good. At the time I loved it.

This is how any British band from the '90s will NEVER EVER sound. Would have loved to see them live. But LP jealously kept in my collection ...

Just dug this cassette out of an old box...very descendants ish...great skate punk!
