    What a genius idea to blend some of the chili! I've never heard of that before, but that would solve the problem I'm having with my chili recipe being too thin and soupy! Thanks!😊

    Soaking the beans the night before helps with digestion as well. Discard the water it was soaking in, then add the beans to your recipe. If boiling the beans just on thier own, after discarding the soaked water, place in a pot and add fresh water. Personally, I enjoy black beans with coconut oil (I heat the oil first), add the beans, cover with fresh water, add salt, onion, cumin and garlic powder with oregano and a bay leaf. Last add dashes of my favorite hot sauce bring to a boil, simmer on low, and add water as needed. If pressed for time I do use semi cooked beans from a cartoon (Whole Foods 365 Organic No Salt added), do the same minus the soaking over night.

    They all look delicious, thank you💗. Do you make your own vegetable broth or do you buy it? I try to make everything at home because of the additives. I have sensitivity to gluten, dairy, yeast, sugar. Plus fish and red meat, lol. That's why I love your channel, your food is clean and delicious💕

    • @Fablunch
      @Fablunch  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you! It means so much 😊 It depends usually. If I have any homemade veggie broth that I pre-made beforehand, I'll use that. If not, I use an organic vegetable broth from Pacific that I get from a store. It has a good flavour and doesn't contain any bad additives.

    • @Fablunch

      There are quite a few 😊 I like using dried oregano, parsley, dill and basil in my soups. Also, cumin, thyme, bay leaves, turmeric, baharat (Middle Easters spice mix) all add really nice flavours to a soup without being spicy.

    Please abstain from advising about legumes and digestion. People may have allergies or may be sensitive to lectins. Eating more beans or on a daily basis as you suggest may only create unnecessary health problems . Read up on lectins and Dr Gundry’s advice. Thumbs down on your comment. If you can’t digest it that’s an important message from your body and you need to listen.
