I've heard of Mariah Carrey's rendition of this -her own song- and I dare say that Morissette's version is better than the original, including the whistle tones. Accept what you are man. You are not alone, because I am like you with your frustration.

Hello there! It's been a while since you last reacted to Morissette. Glad to see you again. This performance was during the 2017 Asia Song Festival held in South Korea, where Morissette was representing the Philippines. If I am not mistaken, it was an annual international music event where artists and singers from various Asian countries get to perform there along with Korea's own talents and artists. Morissette did an amazing, breath-taking, outstanding performance singing "Secret Love Song" and "Best of My Love & Emotion" mash-up, that media and people started calling her as "Asia's Phoenix" 🔥 Yup, it was in that momentous event the "Asia's Phoenix" was born, and Morissette recognizes this as one of the landmarks of her career.🥰
I am glad that you pointed out and mentioned it throughout this reaction video, how difficult it was to perform live infront of thousands of people in the audience, and perhaps millions watching through tv and livestreams, and the millions more who would watch the videos uploaded in social media afterwards, and sing not just an ordinary, easy song, but two difficult songs, and one with whistles even! Also, she was alone on that stage, no back-up singers and dancers like we usually see with big-names celebrities when they perform in huge events like this. It takes a lot of courage and confidence, an iron will, nerves of steel, and uncompromising trust in her talent, to pull off that kind of performance, and Morissette did it! 👏👏👏
The event organizers were so impressed with her, that's why she was invited again to perform the following year in 2018. That was a first for a Filipino artist to be performing in the ASF two years in a row!
