Fun fact, I wanted to finish all side activities before the last main mission, and I thought I did, so after credits I went to menus and checked that I have 100%, but strangely "Done it all" trophy didn't prompt, and I was so pissed off that it might be just another glitch of that version, but I came here to watch this video, and I realized that "Trial by dirt" and "Test track" are different things, so I done test track, and finally got platinum trophy 😁 Thank you GTA Series Videos for this 👍
For anyone that’s stuck on 98 or 99% try redoing the boatyard checkpoint mission. If you don’t get it on the first try, save the file then keep doing it as long as you get the cutscene, you’re good to go. edit - if this helped your welcome guys 🙏🏾. not sure if this method still works after the "patch".

No one is talking about this, if you stuck at 99%: If the boat yards, rc baron and 3 minutes of pole club doesn't work, try Ammunation rifle mission, the mission should say you have to scores 30, but no its not, you have to scores at least 50 and you should get the 1% you looking for.
I kno im late but do you know if i scored 50 points in the first phil cassidy mission does that count towards the 100% or do I have to get 50 points outside of any mision
The annoying part of the 100 fare Taxi completion is that sometimes NPCs would stop spawning at certain locations at an unusual time in your quest. The moment that happens, you might resort in shooting cars to scare NPCs off or rather hitting bikers off their vehicle and chances are they would end up being your fare, however the previous ones wont be anymore and would zombie-mindedly stay in their position after sometime. Just annoyed with that bug in the defenitive edition, trust me it happened to me twice.
I do it in intervals, 25 fares and then save my progress. Even that leads to what you're talking about. I got so impatient that I quit on an uneven number of fares. The trick for me is to choose daylight when possible and hope that it won't start to rain. It rains way too often in this version of the game.
**EXPLOIT** For anyone who wants to cheese the last 20 or so percent of completion (avoiding all the rampages, races, robberies etc) you can exploit the Boatshed mission (the ⚓️ icon on the map) as follows: 1) Save your game at the boatshed 2) Complete the race and take boat back to boatshed. Using a marker helps. 2) Save game in a new slot (B). This slot will be the one you will save/load for the remainder of exploit. 3) Restart app and load slot 'B'. 4) Start a new race BUT you MUST pick the same boat every time. So if you chose the left boat for the first race, choose the left boat for the rest of the exploit. 5) When you complete the race you should see the asset complete cut scene, be awarded the $5k and your completion percentage will increase by 1 if done correctly. 6) Take boat back to shed, save over the 'B' slot, quit app, reload 'B' slot and complete race again to get an additional 1% completion, up to the 100% where the trophy will pop 🥳🏆 NOTE - If you end up starting a race but don't finish it or quit out, you'll notice your boat will change color and the timer will start lower than 3 minutes. If this happens, close the app, reload the 'B' slot, complete the 'first' race again (the completion percent will not advance tho), go back to the boatshed, save over the 'B' slot, then repeat the race again to go up 1% - so try not to screw up any races or quit mid race. And remember to pick the same boat on every attempt 🤟
Just got platinum on Vice City DE Ps5 now i only need to Platinum San Andreas and after that i have every platinum on GTA Trilogy Ps4 Ports, Ps4 DE and Ps5 DE ❤️
Got it! First time I've ever gotten 100% in this game. Feels good, but the rewards are underwhelming because everything is done, so unlimited ammo and such is just sort of there for you to rampage at the military base and against police. I didn't even have to do the Hotring race, I guess because I did the boatyard mission twice and somehow got an increase in income to $4000. But I still completed the race. This has been the best playthrough I've ever done, but it was a freaking grind. Next, Take the Cannoli, because I'm halfway there. Gonna make millions more through Brown Thunder, and that should do it. This has been quite an experience.
If you watch a VC DE speedrun 100%, you could see that sometimes 100% pops even if you haven't completed all these objectives, if a glitch that enables a mission to be completed twice (Rub Out), Is activated. A glitched version of Checkpoint Charlie can be play infinite times to have 100% early too.
Always cracks me up seeing the difference between Vic in VC and VCS. I get why they changed him so much in MCS obviously but still find it funny, mostly just the voice

Wow. What a journey! This guide helped me a lot! I was stuck at 98% but it turned out I needed to do the boatyard (checkpoint Charlie) again for some odd reason, and then lastly I had to spend $300 at the Pole Position. My first 100%. It would be great if the game could now allow us to start a new game with all these new perks (200 health and Armour, infinite ammo, never get tired etc...) Edit: I figure the reason the game doesn't register completion of the boatyard asset is because it's compulsory to do both checkpoint Charlies on BOTH boats (left and right side). Only then will it count as asset complete
Keep trying...I also struggled a lot, but eventually I had that lucky run and got 47. Shoot at the target that's very far and maybe the middle one, but DON'T shoot the closer one. Also try NOT to miss or to shoot slow.
If you’re stuck on 99% go down to the docks and do both boat missions 👍🏻 Also can’t forget the shooting range highscore of 45. I was missing a boat mission having already done one that might be you
Something similar happened to me! But I went ahead and completed the final thing I meant to do because I don't like leaving things unfinished. Plus it led to a literal trophy at the mansion, for the Hotring race.
Finally got the plat been stuck at 1% for done it all trophy for about 2 days couldn't figure out what i left out until to came to the comment section thank you guys probably would've had this plat within the 15 to 20 hour's but 67 hours

Getting 100% is nothing. The pain is grinding for the Godfather rating (and "listening" to each radio station at least once, which I did but the game won't recognize it)
Hey buds in the dirt track with the Sanchez bike I have to make 5 times race? Cos You know at the second time in the end of the track Spawn some explosive barrels in the 3 start to rain and in the 4 some Haitians in Sanchez and bla bla but is fine with one or I have to make the 5 (I think are 5) rounds to have the 100
In gta 3 you pretty much have to do all the side activities first, because by the end of that game all the gangs shoot you on sight and they become impossible. Is Vice city the same way? Or can I actually play through the story first, and then do all the side activities

Perhaps you may have missed a package. Have you done the stadium events too? Those can be easily missed

I did 100% in GTA VC Definitive Edition before first patch - lots of mess up, lots of things I have to do again.

Just 100%'d GTA 3, was a pain in the ass and didn't enjoy it that much. Now onto this much better game, then saving the best for last, San Andreas.

make sure you complete 100 fares as a taxi driver and spend $300 on the stripper at the pole position club as the video doesn't mention those two although you need them for 100%

Bruh i hate my live after i spent 33 hours to get the 100% and i was trying to get take the connoli i was at 99900 i decided to get the iron y trophy and when i saved my game the game decided to save at the. 100% save game without asking me to overwrite 😢

STUCK ON 99%?? .... Go to 2ND Island, up top to ammu nation and beat 45, just shoot the back target, its easy, that's all i needed for 100%

Yes. I’m still stuck at 99% because it will not register all stunt jumps.

How did you get 200 health and 200 extra health
Getting 100% is nothing. The pain is grinding for the Godfather rating (and "listening" to each radio station at least once, which I did but the game won't recognize it)
For the radio stations you have to listen to one complete song for each station, All in one sitting.

Hey buds in the dirt track with the Sanchez bike I have to make 5 times race? Cos You know at the second time in the end of the track Spawn some explosive barrels in the 3 start to rain and in the 4 some Haitians in Sanchez and bla bla but is fine with one or I have to make the 5 (I think are 5) rounds to have the 100

You can earn percentage by recomplete boatyard mission and see the cutscene, remember to save and reload savefile for each try

In gta 3 you pretty much have to do all the side activities first, because by the end of that game all the gangs shoot you on sight and they become impossible. Is Vice city the same way? Or can I actually play through the story first, and then do all the side activities
I think you should finish the story first to unlock assets and hidden side mission

Thanks to your videos I was able to achieve 100% completion on Vice City. Loved every minute of it, thank you. I've still got to do the infamous 'Godfather' achievement and the 'Baked Distractions' one that I missed (very cheeky of them to put that one at the very bottom of the list!). Ah well, looks like I have to start a new game! 😜
