Matt is currently doing L83 8l90 on my 06 LJ with the LT2 intake. I met you and Matt when I dropped it off last year. His builds in the shop are definitely head turners. Matt’s work is very professional. Can’t wait to get my LJ back
@Swap Time I'm deep into an '82 l83/8l90 4x4 swap. I. Worried about being under powered. I'm using the t-case that came with the drivetrain out of a 2018 truck. It's got hummvee 37" tires a Ford superduty front axle to locate the diff on the driver side and the 14 bolt full float rear axle. It's got a custom lift about 10"+, not really sure as it was a 2wd when I started. I just want it for normal road driving and overland type trails. Is that drivetrain combo going to push that heavy truck?
I have a 1988 K5 im doing a 6.6 L8T with 6speed 4x4 swap my question is i can get a stand alone harness to make it run and drive but my problem is making th TK work.Do you have a idea on that?
I will like to meet you I'm from Vegas! Me and my son restoring a c10 72 step side and I love your work and the harness there's any way I can get the shop address an see ir your body wants to work on my truck?
Hey Mitch, my intake on my L83 measures 3.5". Should I stick with that for my intake tubing and air filter. If I change to 4" wouldn't I have to refresh the ECM for the MAF? I'm really tight between the intake and radiator. I've got the Holley Front Runner on and my clearance to the fans is about 1/2". My intake is going to have to make a 180 bend and have the filter over the intake in order to get enough straight tubing for the MAF. My engine compartment is only 24" wide at the front.

Another AWESOME BUILD.
Great content.
I bet this truck rolls on the freeway at 80 MPH @ 2000 RPM.
PLEASE POST MORE OFTEN.
my 2013 suburban does that at 1800rpm
Really could use the part number for that upper radiator hose. Lower too.
upper gates 22916, lower gates 23310- this is what i run on my tahoe with the same drive
@@swaptimeusa Very thankful sir!
This is making me chomp at the bit to get my swap done.
Is it just the camera angle or is that way more yoke sticking out of the back of that trans than one would want? Sounds great.
Definitely is. Noticed that as well.
Nice truck, can't wait for my Jeep, gonna be fun.
I got a WALBRO pump with my TANKS fuel tank. I am running the PWM control
So the corvette style 58psi fuel filter is fine for a n/a Lt swap? Thanks

did he have to change the input shaft on the tcase for the 10 speed? I wouldn't think they have the same spline count
What did you use for the speedometer input?
