Love the basting stitch. If not for your tip, I don't know how long it would have taken me to discover it and figure out how to even use it. Big thank you🤗
Tips are very helpful to me. Thank you for this. I bought a yard+ of terry to make hand towels for my kitchen. Being excited about my new embroidery machine, I decided to embroider the edges with a decorative stitch and put something fun on the front like a couple fish. hahaha I told myself I was never trying that again!
@@PattyAnnesPlace Without instruction, I forged ahead. I broke two needles and did not finish the project. had to get my auto needle threader repaired, which I thought curious. Since then, I have found out about RUclips University and tutorials created by great people like you. I have done a few embroidery only projects, and purchased 'Embrilliance Essentials'. Then I found you!
Thanks Patty for the info about the basting st. I have owened Embriliance for years and didn't know about it. Can we move the distance away from the design the design and the stitch length of the basting box? Thanks again I just love your videos!
Hi Debra! I don’t think that you can change the size of them, but if you have stitch artist, you can make your own basting box with a run stitch and choose whatever size stitch you would like. You would need to re-sequence your objects so that that basting run stitch is first.

Thanks Sue!!!
Can you adjust the length of the stitches on the basting stitch so that it’s easier to remove them?
