- Well now that HobbyKing are back in the UK , I had to start getting items from them, reasonable prices and free shipping ... oh and I also have a space in my storage area for this one...

Great assembly and set up, never seen launch mode before, quite interesting, looking forward to the maiden flight....jeff.
Hi Jeff - I call it Launch mode but it really is just a mix of throttle to elevator on the TX, so you get a little up elevator without having to touch the stick, its on a switch so you can turn it on or off,- I then put in a mix of throttle to aileron (right) - also on the same switch so I also get a little bit of right aileron at full throttle which should help compensate for the motor Torque once airborne - just switch it all off and your back to normal flying mode.... Maiden in a few weeks from now. Cheers Martyn

I met a silver wings RC pilot last week who had trouble flying this model. He set up a Spektrum AR630 receiver & the aircraft dived each time he launched it. He obviously said the prop was so vulnerable to breaking on landing. Hope you go well with yours. Winter here🥶
I have been informed that you do need a lot of throttle to launch it - hence the two Mix's I have one on elevator and one on right aileron to help counter the torque from the motor - I have since making this video replaced the RX with an AR630 - Safe is maxed out regarding limits and I still have the two mix's on a single switch - next few weeks and I will have it up at the field and see what happens !!! - Cheers Noel, WInter is coming - Cheers Martyn
You have done well Martyn. Yes winter is here but we are on the Gold Coast @ 24c whereas innMelbourne it is only 14c

@@FlankerTanker flew very well, did 4 flights. Full right aerolon on hand launch. Very good in wind too. Hope you're fit soon.
Built mine today, i found that 2200mah 4s battery fully forward still required 20g weight on front to get 65mm cog. The battery is too big to go through square hole in foam at the firewall. Tried several types of battery, all same result. Andy in uk.
I pushed A 2200 right into the hole at the front as far as I could go and still get the hatch back on If i pushed it too far down the hole I could not attach the hatch as the Lip would not go between the battery and the foam at the front, I used velcro to hold the battery in place that worked ok for CG at 65mm.. I just did not want to add weight
Flew mine today for first time in hogh wind. Tip....needs lots, and I mean almost full right aerolon on hand launch. Easier to hold it with your thumb if you are hand launching plane with left hand and still controlling tx with right hand. You might find that that launch mode is not enough .Andy in uk.
