I am enjoying my DIY backplate as well and haven’t yet tried the Jsaux RGB one still on my desk. I do enjoy the kickstand. I really appreciate you showing us temp measurements for the different options and backplates. Great video!

For the HandheldDIY backplate, if you're not getting the original sounding "click" or travel on the triggers, you can also try having the little sticker/button covers on the backplate rather than on the buttons, I found that worked better for the L side of my Ally triggers.

Got the handheldDIY. Couldn't get the back buttons to feel good so I just ended up keeping them stock, but keeping the backplate

@@joeymcjoeysalot6596 do you mean the back buttons? Strange that I didn't seem to have an issue with it however, admittedly I don't use them for gameplay so I couldn't tell you if they were "exactly" the same as previous

I just use that Jasux with nothing, heatsink adds too much weight and if it touching the ssd it transfers heat to it. With a killswitch on it it’ll stay under 95 at a constant 43w tdp

With the diy handheld are you leaving that little black sheet on or did you remove it?

Update. I took that little black sheet off and put the pad directly on the cooling pipe. I’m seeing a bigger temp drop than what you were showing. Maybe I just got lucky.
